Seth Rollins Reportedly Dealing With Back Injury

As previously reported, Seth Rollins did not appear at weekend live events and last night’s Raw due to an apparent injury. Additionally, WWE appeared to be setting up a replacement for Rollins for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event in Kurt Angle, who would team with Braun Strowman against Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin. According to Dave Meltzer on The Wrestling Observer Radio (via Sportskeeda), Seth Rollins is reportedly dealing with a “bad back” at the moment.

The extent of Rollins’ back injury is not clear, but it was serious enough that he had to miss his scheduled live events and last night’s Raw, despite an earlier report yesterday from PWInsider claiming he was “confirmed” to appear on last night’s Raw. On top of that, it will likely sideline Rollins through the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event this month.

Per the report, whatever the injury is, Rollins is not currently expected to miss WrestleMania 35. Rollins is currently scheduled to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal title at the event.
