Sports Illustrated is reporting that The Undertaker (Mark Calaway) has come to terms to appear at the Starrcast 2 wrestling convention in Las Vegas on May 25.
The convention, which was created last year and promoted alongside the ALL IN event, will be returning during the weekend of AEW’s inaugural Double or Nothing PPV event.
Starrcast founder Conrad Thompson made it clear that the convention is not an “AEW event” and rather a gathering of all types of wrestling talent for the fans.
“I know people might assume this is an AEW event, but that is not true. We have wrestlers appearing from every promotion from all over the world, and Starrcast isn’t just for All Elite Wrestling fans, it’s for all wrestling fans.
“The Undertaker is synonymous with wrestling and generations of wrestling fans have grown up with The Undertaker. We wanted to bring something unique to Las Vegas, and there isn’t anyone more special in this business than The Undertaker.”
The article noted that Undertaker, who last appeared for WWE at the Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia last year, recently removed any mentions of WWE from his Twitter profile and started to take non-WWE related bookings in recent weeks.
Opinionated View- Truthfully this is non story. But the look of it is going to piss Vince off.
