Kurt Angle Rumored to be Ending Career After WrestleMania 35

Speaking on the Oh, You Didn’t Know Wrestling Show (via Ringside News), Brad Shepard had an update on the in-ring status of WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle. According to Shepard, Kurt Angle is planning on finishing up his career this year, and WrestleMania 35 will likely be his last match at WrestleMania.

Kurt Angle was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017. He finally made his in-ring return to WWE at the 2017 TLC event, teaming up with Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins to face The Miz, Braun Strowman, Kane, Cesaro, and Sheamus. This was his first WWE match in over 11 years. He made his in-ring return to WrestleMania last year, teaming up with Ronda Rousey to beat Stephanie McMahon and Triple H.

There aren’t a lot of details on what WWE has planned for Angle at WrestleMania or how they plan closing the book on his career. It only states that Angle will soon be on his way out and WrestleMania 35 may be his last match at WrestleMania.

Opinionated View- Kurt never should have wrestled again in the WWE he's looked awful. From a performance standpoint the end of Impact career was the perfect way to end his in ring career.
