WWE’s recent spate of hiring producers is part of the company’s plans to expand their Performance Centers on a global level. A report by Fightful.com says that the hiring of Shane Helms, Chris “Abyss” Parks, Jeff Jarrett, Shawn Daivari, and Sonjay Dutt is driven heavily by the company’s goals of establishing Performance Centers on a global basis.
Triple H has not been shy about mentioning plans to turn the NXT brand into a global brand, and Performance Centers are becoming a big part of that. Part of those expansion plans include India and Jarrett, Dutt and Abyss all have experience working there due to their involvement in TNA’s production of Ring Ka King in 2011 and 2012. With more producers on the company’s payroll, it cuts down on their need to bring them in as “guest trainers.”
The site also notes that there have been shifts in production, human resources and marketing research over the last several months. Those moves are relasted to the global expansion plans and mean that some people behind the scenes are relocating as they take on roles in NXT.
