Notes On Dean Ambrose’s Babyface Turn And Ambrose Going Off Script On RAW

According to Wrestling Observer Radio (via Wrestling Inc), Dean Ambrose changed the script in his segment with Seth Rollins during last night’s episode of RAW. Dave Meltzer said that Ambrose was meant to come out and give a speech that included lines about The Shield and Roman Reigns before concluding with “Slay the Beast.” Instead, Ambrose just came out and said, “I’ve only got one thing got say to you: ‘Slay the beast.'” He then left the ring and sat at ringside to wait for his match with EC3.

Ambrose, who is leaving WWE in April, worked the match as a babyface and scored the win over EC3. Meltzer said that fans usually turn on a wrestler when word gets out the wrestler is leaving, but this hasn’t been the case with Ambrose.

He added: “One of the things they did to get ahead of the story was announce that Dean Ambrose was leaving. So then what happens at all the shows is people start cheering Dean Ambrose for wanting to leave which is really weird.”

WWE then decided that if fans were going to cheer Ambrose, then they would go ahead and turn him face again.

Opinionated View- Like I said physically Dean was at Raw, mentally he's already at the MGM Grand on 5/25
