James Storm Reportedly Turned Down WWE Due to Low Pay

As previously reported, James Storm is back full time with TNA. Many wondered what happened rumors that he would be signing with WWE, as he had worked some NXT tapings and did interviews for the WWE website.

According to prowrestlingsheet.com, James Storm was reportedly offered a deal by WWE, which would have paid him less than $100,000 a year. The site goes on to say that TNA offered Storm a two-year deal, worth more than two times the WWE offer, as well as a portion of merchandise sales. Storm’s TNA deal is also said to be a guaranteed deal and not a pay per appearance one. Finally, the site reports that WWE officials left the door open for a future return.

Opinionated View- So it sounds like WWE wanted to stick him with the NXT deal they give most guys.
