– WWE took to Twitter to officially announce that they’ve signed Austin Aries to an NXT contract. The NXT Twitter account posted the following video of Aries appearing on NXT;
WWE.com also has an article on Aries signing, describing him as “a 15-year veteran of the squared circle who’s competed against the likes of Daniel Bryan, Seth Rollins and Samoa Joe.” The article notes that Aries’ first NXT appearance will be on the March 2nd episode.
Opinionated View- Like I said earlier I wish him well. But man the NXT hype is making me sick. I am seeing people claim "This proves he disliked TNA" and "NXT is taking over wrestling." If Aries disliked TNA why did he return for the World Title Series after his contract was up? Why did he put Spud over strong in one his last matches? And NXT is taking over nothing. For god sake's people its not on TV. The NXT titles are never featured on the big events.
