CHIKARA National Pro Wrestling Day 2016 (2/6/2016) Results

1) Young Lions Cup Quarter-Final Round Elimination Match: Wani defeats Ashley Vox, Prakash Sabar, and Jeremy Leary to advance.

Stokely Hathaway’s (of ROH fame) cousin made his way to the ring with two females to sing a song. He mentions that he was a fan of CHIKARA for years and saw how the company underwent some changes. He then mentions that Chuck Taylor’s faux retirement caused Chuck to lose the intellectual property of his name. Because of it, he is now calling himself Chuck Taylor. The old Chuck confirmed this on Twitter and is now going by the name Scoot Tatum.

2) Hallowicked defeated Ophidian with Never Wake Up.

3) Fighting Spirit Pro Wrestling Showcase: Magma, Supastar WHIPLASH, Suntan Superman defeated the House of Payne (Hakim Ali, Nick Payne & Big Daddy Dre) when Superman pinned Dre with a top rope moonsault.

4. Young Lions Cup Quarter-Final Round Elimination Match: Argus defeats Luke Lawson, Officer Warren Barksdale, and Hermit Crab to advance.

5. Heidi Lovelace pinned Solo Darling with a top rope senton splash.

6. Young Lions Cup Quarter-Final Round Elimination Match: Nutrious X defeats Ken Broadway, Delmi Exo, and the Proletariat Boar of Moldova to advance.

7. “Mr. Touchdown” Mark Angelosetti pins Pinkie Sanchez with a pop-up spinebuster. In a post-match interview, Angelosetti says he misses Dasher and the rest of Dasher’s Dugout.

8. Excellence Pro Wrestling Showcase: Havoc & Danger Jameson defeated Marq Quen & Sasha Jenkins (who was replacing Anthony Gangone) when Havoc pinned Jenkins with a sit-out slam.
 
9. Young Lions Cup Quarter-Final Round Elimination Match: The Estonian Thunderfrog defeats Mike Verna, Willow Nightingale, and Rock Lobster to advance.

10. Dasher Hatfield pinned Missile Assault Man with a suplex into the ropes. However, when Hatfield noticed Missile’s foot on the rope, he insisted the match be re-started. Missile then rolled up Hatfield and held his tights to get the win. “Mr. Touchdown” Mark Angelosetti came out to protest with the referee. Dasher Hatfield told Touchdown that “it takes a cheater to know a cheater”, then left. The match was not re-started and Missile was officially declared the winner.

11. Young Lions Cup Semi-Final Round Match: The Estonian Thunderfrog pinned Nutrious X with a top-rope powerbomb.

12. Young Lions Cup Semi-Final Round Match: Wani pinned Argus with a flipping neckbreaker.

13. Scoot Tatum (the former Chuck Taylor) defeated Wayne Scott with a moonsault, a move Scoot never hit when he was Chuck Taylor. Post match, Scoot did an interview stating he hated his new name and was planning to change it.

14. Princess Kimberlee pinned Mickie James with an Alligator Clutch.

15. Young Lions Cup Final Round Match: The Estonian Thunderfrog wins the Young Lions Cup XII tournament, putting him away with a frog splash.
