Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com (via Wrestlezone) reports that Vince McMahon met with Batista last month about possibly making a one-off appearance at WrestleMania 32. Batista turned down the idea and will not appear at the event. The idea was that Batista would be the special guest referee for the WWE title match between Triple H and Roman Reigns. The idea would be to make it look like the deck was stacked against Reigns.
Meanwhile, Meltzer also said that Bill Goldberg has not been contacted about appearing at WrestleMania.
Opinionated View- Thank god it appears this won't happen.
