Kurt Angle Set To Face Rey Mysterio In First Post-TNA Match

Kurt Angle has finished his TNA dates, but he is not done wrestling just yet. Angle had previously said that he was not retiring, but that he was going to slow down. According to wrestlinginc.com, Kurt Angle will return to the ring and face Rey Mysterio on March 20th at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona The UR Fight event is a hybrid show, which will feature pro wrestling, boxing, MMA and grappling. The following is being advertised for the show…
* MMA: Ken Shamrock vs. Dan Severn
* Grappling: Michael Bisping vs. Chael Sonnen
* Boxing: Roy Jones Jr vs. a Fan ($100,000 challenge)
* Wrestling: Rey Mysterio vs. Kurt Angle

Opinionated View- Boy this sounds sad... Angle vs. Mysterio could be good but again Rey hurts himself eating a sandwich. Bisping vs. Sonnen could be good. Sonnen hasn't fought in a while but keeps in shape and I think has competed in grappling events since his suspension from MMA. Bisping has pretty good ground skills and when he fought Chael he actually stuffed his takedowns.

For the love of god Shamrock and Severn has got to be a worked contest. Shamrock should be fighting and I think he's under contract to Bellator. Plus Severn did retire from MMA in 2013 of course comebacks in fighting and wrestling happen all the time. But man the site of a 57 year old man wrestling much less fighting a 52 year old man would just be awful.

And maybe the saddest Roy Jones Jr. If your not a boxing fan just understand this guy was Fedor mixed Tom Brady mixed with Lebron James in boxing. But sadly is that once great fighter that can't stop. And what scares me is as much as Roy's skill have declined there is a chance he could lose to someone off the streets.
