2/3 NXT Report

The Vaudevillains vs. Hype Bros
Ryder scores a neckbreaker, facebuster and dropkick on English, but Gotch runs in and gives English the advantage. English hits a mule kick, which allows himself and Gotch to double team Ryder over in their corner. Ryder hits an enziguri and tags Rawley, who gets some offense before being tossed out. Ryder is hit with the Whirling Dervish and the Vaudevillians win.
Winners: The Vaudevillains via pinfall (Whirling Dervish)
Carmella is shown being interviewed by Tom Phillips. She talks about her father wrestling in WWF. She says next week's match with Bayley won't change their friendship. She says she's going to beat Emma tonight and prove to everyone that she deserves her shot.
- Dash and Dawson are backstage trashing Enzo and Cass, saying they'll never lose to them.
Carmella vs. Emma (w/ Dana Brooke)
Carmella hits a couple of dropkicks, but gets clotheslined. Emma is in control but eats a head scissors and a Bronco Buster. Carmella scores with a backslide for the win.
Winner: Carmella via pinfall
- Sami Zayn is outside and states his case for last week's match, saying he had the submission applied first. Samoa Joe is asked about it and just grunts.
Enzo & Big Cass vs. Local Wrestlers
We don't get names for the j-brones, and they're not even listed on match databases. Enzo and Cass dominate these two, and Corey Graves is hilarious. Cass choke tosses one over the top rope to the floor. Rocket Launcher gets the win.
Winners: Enzo & Big Cass via pinfall (Rocket Launcher)
- Baron Corbin wants last week's match redone, and Regal says he got beat, and he's out of the occasion. Regal announces a rematch for number one contendership between Samoa Joe and Sami Zayn.
Asuka vs. Santana Garrett
Asuka drills Santana Garrett with her ass and lands a few kicks, but Garrett lands a Russian leg sweep for a nearfall. She applies a modified Black Widow hold, but Asuka counters into an ankle lock, and then an armbar and the Asuka Lock for the win.
Winner: Asuka via submission (Asuka Lock)
- Finn Balor is backstage and says he doesn't envy Regal, but is glad that they solve things in NXT, which is what he's about to do with Apollo Crews
Finn Balor vs. Apollo Crews
Crews and Balor trade headlocks, with Crews unable to break the headlock for several minutes until a big dropkick sends Balor outside. We come back from break to see Balor hit a few kicks of his own before chopping away at Crews. Crews gets sent outside, and Balor hits a big dive outside.
Balor hits a Coup de Grace to the back of Crews' head, but he kicks out. Crews gets two on a toss Samoan Drop, but misses on an enziguri and walks into a Slingblade. A pump kick sets up a gorilla press into a moonsault, and Balor kicks out at two. Crews goes for a CannonBomb, but eats a Slingblade, dropkick, Coup de Grace and Bloody Sunday. Balor wins.
Winner: Finn Balor via pinfall (Bloody Sunday)
Both men shake hands to close the show.
