9/28 WWE Raw Report

John Cena makes his way to the ring and grabs a microphone. Cena remarks that the crowd seems a little salty tonight, but have no fear, the champ is here. Cena goes on to put over the U.S. title. Cena is officially bringing back the U.S. open challenge. After a brief bit of silence, John Cena’s music plays… via a trombone. The New Day dance down the ramp, and it looks like Big E. will be Cena’s opponent tonight.
John Cena vs Xavier Woods
Woods taunts Cena with the trombone. The bell rings and Cena destroys Woods with a clothesline. Woods rolls to the outside. Big E. and Kofi get on the apron. Cena knocks Big E. off the apron. Cena hits the ropes, but Kingston grabs his ankle. The referee sees Kingston’s interference, so he boots Big E. and Kingston from ringside. Cena hit the five-knuckle shuffle. Cena tries to AA Woods, but Woods wiggles out and hits an enzguri to Cena. Woods gets on the top rope, but Cena tries to AA Woods off the top. Woods wiggles out again.
Cena dives off the top turnbuckle for a cross body but Woods moves out of the way, then hits a diving ddt off the middle rope. Woods goes for the honor roll, but Cena catches him in a power bomb. Cena goes for another AA, but Woods wiggles out again and hits a high knee and a reverse suplex to Cena. Cena tries the AA yet again, but Woods reverse it into eat de-feat for another two count. Woods plants Cena face first with a running front face ddt, but Cena kicks out again. Woods goes to the top for a drop kick, but Cena moves out of the way. Cena locks in the STF, but Kingston and Big E. hit the ring before Woods can tap out. Woods has been disqualified.


Winner – John Cena
After the match the Dudley Boyz come out to fight off New Day with Cena.

Director of Operations Kane decided to make this a six-man tag match.
John Cena and the Dudley Boyz vs The New Day
The Dudleys hit a double elbow drop on Kingston. Cena tags in and lands the five-knuckle shuffle. Big E. tags in and locks up with Cena. Big E. floors Cena with a shoulder block before getting trapped in the corner. The New Day put Cena in the merry-go-round (taking turns stomping Cena in the corner). Cena started to gain momentum, but Kingston takes Cena down by his ankles. Kingston tags in Big E, who hits a running splash on Cena. Big E. goes to the well one to many times and Big E misses his second splash attempt.
Cena tags in D-von who takes out all of the heels. D-Von almost kills Kingston with a top rope neck breakers. Big E tries to spear D-Von, but D-Von moves out of the way and Big E. spears Cena off the apron. The Dudleys hit the whazz-up head-butt and call for the 3D. Woods pulls Bubba Ray out of the ring, which allows Kingston to hit trouble in paradise for the win.
Winners- The New Day
Backstage, Triple H and Stephanie are talking with a Human Resources representative. Triple H tries to tell Stephanie that this is a bad idea. Stephanie tells Kane that Ashley will be observing Kane tonight to make sure he is fit to be the Director of Operations. Seth Rollins walks in and says this is an outrage that someone would file an anonymous complaint against Kane.

Backstage Dean Ambrose is telling Roman Reigns that he might want to rethink what he is doing. Ambrose says he know the Wyatts must have something crazy planned for him. Ambrose says he will have Reigns back if Wyatt’s two swamp rats try to interfere. Reigns says he is sure that Orton will help Ambrose if he needs it. Ambrose says that after what happened with Chris Jericho at Night of Champions, he doesn’t want any outside help. Orton walks and tells Reigns that if he doesn’t handle his business with Wyatt tonight it will be open season.

Big Show vs Mark Henry
Henry and Show lock up and Henry tries to slam Show. Henry can’t get Show off the ground. Show hits the ropes and spears Henry almost out of his boots. Show picks up Henry for three body slams. Henry is screaming as if he is dying. Henry struggles to get to his feet, but Show kicks him in the face. Show pulls down his straps and knocks Henry out cold with the WMD for the win.
Winner- Big Show
Miz TV-
The Miz recaps the turmoil between Team PCB. Charlotte and Becky Lynch join Miz in the ring. This is not going to shock anyone one, but Miz says something stupid and Lynch threatens to slap the scarf off his head. Charlotte stands up and asks Paige to come to the ring. Miz gets upset but before he can finish his sentence, Lynch grabs Miz’s mic and tosses it out of the ring.
The Bella’s music hits and Nikki, Brie, and Alicia come to the ring. Charlotte tells Nikki to come to the ring so she can make her tap out like she did at Night of Champions. Nikki puts herself over as the person who really started the Diva Revolution. Charlotte says the fans are the ones who are really responsible for the Divas revolution. Paige comes out and runs down Charlotte and Lynch. Nikki tells Charlotte that with friends like these you don’t need enemies. Paige retorts, “ Yeah and with boyfriends like yours, who really needs ambition.”
A huge brawl breaks out. Team Bella ends up on the outside of the ring, while the former team PCB stands tall in the ring.
Director of Operations Kane turns this into a six-woman tag match.

Team PCB vs Team Bella
After a commercial break the Team PCB are taking turns beating down Fox. Brie tags in and almost gets rolled up by Charlotte. Charlotte tags in Lynch and they hit a double elbow drop with a dual kip-up. Lynch hits the ropes, but Fox pulls her down by her hair. Team Bella works over Lynch. Brie traps Lynch in the corner and kicks her in the stomach over and over again. Brie follows that up with a running bulldog out of the corner.
Nikki tags in and tries to suplex Lynch, but Lynch rolls her up in a small package. Nikki kicks out, but Lynch tags in Charlotte. Paige looks upset that no one has tagged her in. Charlotte hits a neck breaker and set up the figure eight. Nikki kicks Charlotte into Paige and Paige falls off the apron. Paige gets upset and tries to leave. Natalya tries to stop her but decides to take Paige’s place. Paige pulls Natalya off the apron and she falls face first on the apron. In all of the confusion, Nikki hits the rack attack on Charlotte for the win.
Winner- Team Bella
Backstage Rollins is telling Ashley from HR that Kane is out to get him. Kane interrupts and thanks Rollins for everything he has done for him. Kane hands Rollins a big red box. Rollins promptly asks, “ What’s in the box!” Kane opens it and reveals Rollins severed head… well from his statue that is. Kane tells Rollins it is amazing what one man can do with a shovel and a flashlight. Rollins says he can’t take this and storms off.

The Prime Time Players vs Luke Harper and Braun Strowman 
Harper and Young start the match. Harper muscles Young into the corner, then sends Young careening to the mat with a shoulder block. Young clotheslines Harper, but Harper answers with a drop kick. Harper tags in Strowman who tosses Young around like a rag doll. Harper tags in, but he eats an enzguri by Young. Young tags in O’Neil. O’Neil beats Harper from pillar to post, until he is distracted by Strowman and walks right into a discus clothesline by Harper. Strowman locks in the hug of death. O’Neil has no choice but to pass out from all of the love.
Winner- Luke Harper and Braun Strowman
Neville vs Stardust 
Collar and elbow tie up, which leads to a flip out sequence by Neville. Stardust will have none of it and pulls Neville to the mat by his hair. Stardust holds Neville up in a suplex, but Neville wiggles out. Neville goes up top for the red arrow, but King Barrett’s music hit. Barrett walks to the ring and knocks Neville out with a bull hammer. Stardust tries to crawl away, but Barrett floored him with a bull hammer as well.
Winner- Neville by DQ

Kane and Ashley from HR are in the ring. Before Ashley can give her full evaluation, Rollins’ music hits and Rollins is yelling about how Kane is not the man that he presents himself to be. Rollins runs a video package highlighting Kane being the big red machine and wrecking stuff. Rollins says the Kane in the video is the real Kane. Rollins goes into a crazy person like rant, about how he isn’t going to hell; he can’t go to hell because the Pope blessed him. Kane runs a video package highlighting Rollins being mean to him.
Ashley reads her report, which says Kane is sound of mind and more than capable of being the Director of Operations. She goes on to say that if anyone needs to be evaluated, its Seth Rollins. Rollins gets in the ring and pedigrees Kane. Rollins goes to the outside, grabs a chair and assaults Kane with it. Rollins wraps a chair around Kane’s leg and stomps on it. The trainer runs into the ring to check on Kane. The trainer calls for the paramedics. As they are putting Kane on a backboard, Rollins rants about how Kane looks very human right now. Kane is loaded into an ambulance.
The ambulance pulls off, but it stops. Red lights blare and smoke is pours out of the ambulance. Kane emerges from it in full Demon Kane garb. Kane is limping at first, but he stomps his bad leg to knock it back into place. Kane gets in the ring and Rollins hits him in the leg with a chair, but Kane is totally unaffected. Kane beats the heck out of Rollins, then chokeslams him for good measure. Kane picks up Rollins for a tombstone, but Rollins rolls out of it and scurries out of the ring. Kane picks up the WWE title and sets the turnbuckles ablaze.

Randy Orton vs Bo Dallas
Randy and Dallas end up on the outside. Orton suplexes Dallas on the barricade. Orton hits his vintage backbreaker on Dallas, followed by Orton’s vintage ddt. RKO by Orton for the win.
Winner- Randy Orton
Kevin Owens vs Rusev
Owens and Rusev start the match throwing bombs at each other. They end up on the outside of the ring. Owens throws Rusev into Ryback who is on commentary. Ryback attacks Rusev, then Owens and Rusev attack Ryback. Ziggler runs down and helps Ryback.
Winner- Rusev via DQ
Paul Heyman is in the ring to hype the Brock Lesnar vs Big Show match at MSG this Saturday night. Heyman mentions that the problem with Big Show is that he is bored. No one can push Show to his limits. This Saturday, Show will be pushed to his limits by Brock Lesnar. This Saturday night, Brock Lesnar will take Show to suplex city. Show has heard enough. Show comes out to the ring and says he is motivated and he is the one guy who can push Brock Lesnar. Heyman leaves the ring in a huff. Show tells Heyman to think about his future. It will be a future without Brock Lesnar.

Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt
Wyatt noted that he would fight Reigns one on one, but when he appears on the apron, he is flanked by Strowman and Harper. Reigns grabs a mic and says this is exactly what he is talking about. He challenged Wyatt to a fight and he brings his training wheels with him. Reigns goes on to use an expletive to describe Wyatt that I will not repeat (It rhymes with itch). Wyatt sends Harper and Strowman to the back. The bell rings and Reigns and Wyatt charge each other. Wyatt has the upper hand, but Reigns hits a clothesline, followed by two suplexes. Wyatt is draped on the bottom rope, which give Reigns the opportunity to hit the drive by.

After a short break, Wyatt has Reigns in a rear chin lock. Reigns picks up Wyatt for a back suplex. Before Reigns can capitalize, Wyatt drives Reigns into the mat with a uranage suplex. Wyatt gets another two count after a ddt. Wyatt charges Reigns in the corner, but Reigns moves out of the way. Wyatt tries to sneak in a running senton, but once again Reigns moves out of the way. Reigns knees Wyatt in the gut, then takes Wyatt over into a jackhammer. Wyatt kicks out at two.
Reigns knocks Wyatt to the mat after a clothesline. Reigns misses the Superman punch, and Wyatt nearly decapitates Reigns with a Lariat. Wyatt set Reigns up on the top rope for a suplex, but Reigns fights out of it. Reigns powerbombs Wyatt for another near fall. Reigns hits the Superman punch. Wyatt rolls to the outside. Reigns goes outside and runs to Wyatt. Wyatt sidesteps and sends Reigns head first into the steel steps. Wyatt tosses the steel steps at Reigns, but Reigns ducks. Reigns clotheslines Wyatt over the barricade. The ref counts both competitors out.
No Contest
After the match Reigns and Wyatt continue to fight on the outside. Wyatt and Reigns continue to fight in the crowd. Wyatt picks up a WWE tech worker and tosses him at Reigns. Wyatt cross body blocks Reigns through the barricade. Wyatt stands on top of the announce table, posing to the audience. Reigns appears out of nowhere and spears Wyatt through the announce table. Both competitors are out on the floor.
