The Wrestling Observer reports that wrestlers under contract with El Rey’s Lucha Underground expect the show to be picked up for more episodes after the first season. In addition, Lucha Underground has tapings scheduled beyond its initial 39-episode commitment.
More episodes for the show are going to be taped on March 21 and March 22. In addition, the Observer reports that Lucha Underground is talking about bringing in former TNA star Sonjay Dutt.
Opinionated View- I think my thoughts on LU is clear. They have potential but a lot of work needs to be done and I don't buy the "best show" So many in the IWC are giving them. Hopefully a second season could see changes take place.
