Changes Could Be Coming To WWE Divas Division After WrestleMania

WrestleZone reports that WWE is planning a major change in how they handle the Divas division moving forward. The change has apparently been motivated by the #GiveDivasAChance movement which has caused some members of the WWE staff to re-evaluate how the Divas are being used on TV and in the ring.

WWE feels that Total Divas on the E! Network has been a big success and has attracted many viewers who do not otherwise watch WWE programming. That being said, some feel that WWE is not retaining these new viewers for their other programming because when these new fans turn to RAW or Smackdown and see the Divas having short matches that aren’t treated with a lot of importance, they tune out. As a result, changes may happen as soon as the next few weeks to try and appeal more to these viewers.

Opinionated View- You know I like good women's wrestling the problem is WWE doesn't do good women's wrestling. They have a few very talented woman but prefer to push models turned wrestlers. The idiots watching total divas are watching because it's a realty show they aren't going to start watching wrestling even if you do more with the divas. Giving more time to girls like The Bellas or Namoi is going to suck because they suck. You want to see good womens' wrestling watch, TNA, SHIMER, SHINE, or any indy company.
