PWInsider reports that Tomasso Ciampa revealed that he’s leaving Ring of Honor. Ciampa said that both sides mutually agreed to split after they failed to come to terms on a new deal. Ciampa’s contract expired in February.
Opinionated View- Wow huge loss for ROH. Ciampa is easily one of there better young talents and he has tons of untapped potential. Of course if it comes down to money than shame on them when there are guys like, Strong, Whitmer, War Machine, The Briscoes, and Moose you could have cut to save money. Sadly though it's clear ROH is looking for cheap talent instead of good talent. That's why suddenly we are seeing guys like Dalton Castle or Moose green guys that aren't going to cost as much to book.
The good news for Ciampa is hopefully WWE, TNA, Lucha Underground, WWN Live, or a company in Japan or Mexico could use a great talent like him.
