Jim Ross will be doing commentary for the New Japan "Wrestlekingdom 9" US PPV on January 4, 2015 live from ringside at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan according to a report by Mike Johnson. It is said that this was the sticking point for Ross in negotiations with Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling and New Japan for him to agree to call the show. Ross was not interested in calling the show unless he was live at ringside, otherwise, he would have passed on the offer. Global Force Wrestling is currently looking at several potential broadcast partners for Ross for the show.
