Match Number One: Will Ferrara, Tadarius Thomas, and Caprice Coleman versus Roderick Strong, BJ Whitmer, and Adam Page
All six men get face to face for the ceremony of the Code of Honor, but knowing the history of the Decade, that is all it is going to be. Whitmer has words with former Decade lackey Thomas and they push each other so the referee calls for the bell to start the match.
Thomas punches Whitmer while Coleman and Page battle and Ferrara punches Strong. The Decade go to the floor and Coleman and Thomas with a baseball slide and then they assist Ferrara with a back drop onto all three men.
Thomas with a forearm to Whitmer followed by kicks when things get under control. Thomas punches Whitmer and connects with a knee. Thomas with an Irish whip and flying boot into the corner for a near fall. Thomas with a chop to Whitmer in the corner and Coleman tags in and he chops BJ. BJ with a chop and knee. Page tags in and he is given a drop toe hold by Coleman. Caprice with arm drags followed by a hip toss.
Ferrara tags in and they hit a double drop kick and Ferrara gets a near fall. Ferrara keeps himself between Page and his corner. Page with a forearm but Ferrara with an elbow and clothesline for a near fall. Ferrara tries for a suplex and Page blocks it. Strong tags in and he chops Ferrara and Irish whips Ferrara, but Strong runs into a boot. Ferrara with a counter to a hip toss by Strong and he takes Strong down. Ferrara with a drop kick for a near fall.
Ferrara tries for a suplex but Strong blocks it. Ferrara with forearms to Strong. Ferrara tries to come off the ropes but Page with a knee to the back when the referee was not looking and that distracts Ferrara. Ferrara with a forearm to knock Page off the apron, but Will turns around into a drop kick from Strong.
Whitmer tags in and they kick Ferrara in the corner. Whitmer sends Ferrara into the corner and he chops Will. BJ with his forearm across the bridge of the nose and he hits a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Whitmer with a snap mare to Ferrara followed by an elbow to the head. Whitmer with crossfaces to Ferrara and he stands on Will’s hand. Will is sent into the turnbuckles and Strong tags in and he chops Will. Ferrara with punches and chops but Strong backs Will into the corner. Strong with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot. Strong pulls Ferrara off the turnbuckles and hits a back breaker for a near fall. Whitmer and Page go after Thomas and Coleman on the apron. Whitmer sends Thomas into the guardrail and Page grabs a chair and he wants to give it to Strong, but Strong throws the chair to the floor.
Ferrara with punches but Strong with an Irish whip. Strong with forearms and an Irish whip but Ferrara avoids a charge into the corner. Ferrara escapes a belly-to-back suplex attempt and then he hits a tornado DDT out of the corner. Ferrara makes the tag to Coleman and Page comes in. Coleman with a series of punches and then he hits the one inch punch on Strong. Whitmer with a boot to Coleman but Coleman with a leaping rana and he sends BJ to the floor.
Coleman hits the rolling Northern Light Suplex trinity, and for the last one, he adds Strong to make it a double and he gets a near fall. Strong with kicks to Coleman and he gets Coleman on his shoulders but Thomas makes the save with kicks. Strong misses a clothesline and Thomas with a kick that sends Strong to the floor. Page pulls Thomas to the floor and he sends Thomas into the guardrails. Coleman with an Asai moonsault onto all three members of the Decade.
Coleman rolls Strong back in and he goes up top. Whitmer grabs Caprice’s leg and Strong with an enzuigiri. Strong with a superplex and he gets a near fall. Ferrara with a Code Red to Strong but Whitmer with a forearm. Whitmer with a kick and boot to the head followed by a Saito suplex. Thomas with kicks to Whitmer followed by a neck breaker. Thomas goes for a dive to the floor but Page with a forearm. Page sends Thomas to the floor. Coleman leaps over Page and then Coleman sends Page to the apron.
Coleman with a kick to Page’s head but Strong, the legal man in the match, hits Coleman with a forearm. Coleman and Strong with standing switches and Page sets for the slingshot clothesline to Coleman, but Coleman moves and Page hits Strong with the clothesline instead. Coleman sends Page to the floor and then Coleman hits a running cutter on Strong for the three count.
Winners: Caprice Coleman, Will Ferrara, and Tadarius Thomas
After the match, Strong has some words for Whitmer and then Strong yells at Page. Whitmer gets a mic and he tells Strong and Page this ain’t gonna happen. They are not going to self destruct. They are going to squash this heat and he wants Strong to shake Page’s hand.
Strong yells at Whitmer and Page hits Strong from behind. Strong fights back and Whitmer joins in. Strong with punches to Page and Whitmer pulls Page to safety.
Strong rips up a Decade shirt and throws the remnants at Whitmer.
We go to commercial.
We are back with a video package for War Machine. We see photos of Raymond Rowe’s motorcycle accident from August.
Kevin Kelly is in the ring and he brings out Raymond Rowe.
Kevin brings up the rollercoaster year that Rowe has had in 2014 with his in ring success and his motorcycle accident.
BJ Whitmer and Adam Page come to the ring and BJ takes the mic. He says that he has to put a quick end to this pity fest. He tells Ray to take his gimp arm and walk his bitch ass to the back. BJ asks Ray if he is going to do something. He says that he is willing to bet everything that he will turn his back and Rowe won’t do a damn thing.
Rowe takes off his sling and officials stop Rowe from doing anything.
Rowe leaves the ring.
Whitmer wants to talk about Roderick Strong. He says that when they put the Decade together, he was the wild card. He didn’t know where Roddy stood. He wasn’t certain if Roderick could set aside his ego and put the group before himself. Roddy proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that he is the most self centered and self righteous son of a bitch in the locker room.
He says that Roddy is a cancer and when you have cancer, you cut the cancer out.
Since Roddy and him are going to be in New York for Final Battle, why not make it Roderick Strong versus . . . Adam Page at Final Battle.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Adam Cole mentions that he won Survival of the Fittest in Ohio last week. He says that he would not be at the back of the line long. He says that Jay’s second title reign will be shorter than his first. He says that it will never be over between the two of them because he hates Jay’s guts. When he faces Jay at Final Battle, it will be that much sweeter when he takes it from him.
Matt Sydal has joined Steve and Kevin at the announce table.
As Lethal makes his way to the ring, he taps Sydal on the shoulder.
Match Number Two: ACH versus Jay Lethal (with Truth Martini) for the ROH World Television Title
Lethal wants ACH to back up so he can discuss some strategy with Truth and Truth demands the camera back up. They lock up and ACH teases a chop on the break but he decides against it. Lethal with a waist lock and take down. ACH with an escape and hammer lock. Lethal with a snap mare but ACH with a hammer lock and Lethal gets to the ropes.
ACH with a drop toe hold into a hammer lock. ACH with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. ACH with a cartwheel over Lethal, but Lethal with a hip toss followed by a cartwheel into a drop kick to show ACH how the cartwheel in ROH is done. Lethal kicks ACH as we go to commercial.
We are back and ACH and Lethal exchange punches. Lethal with a chop and he goes for the Lethal Injection but ACH with a forearm and he ties Lethal in the ropes. ACH with kicks to the chest followed by a hesitation drop kick and Lethal rolls to the apron and then the floor. ACH goes to the floor and he chops Lethal.
They return to the ring and ACH with a chop and punch. Lethal with a flapjack and he gets a near fall. Lethal sends ACH to the floor and Jay goes to the floor and he chops ACH. Lethal puts ACH on the apron and he chops ACH. Lethal sets up ACH for a posed photo but ACH tells Martini he is number one.
Lethal tries for a sunset flip but ACH is able to keep his balance and he hits a double stomp for a near fall. ACH with a slam and then he picks up Lethal for another slam. ACH with a third slam to weaken the back. ACH with a leaping elbow drop and he gets a near fall. Lethal with a punch and he sends ACH into the turnbuckles but ACH blocks it. ACH sends Lethal into the turnbuckles. ACH with a chop and he gets a near fall.
Lethal with a punch but ACH punches back. Lethal with another punch. ACH with punches but Lethal with a knee and he puts ACH in the ropes. Lethal with a European uppercut followed by a forearm. ACH with a boot to Lethal followed by a waist lock. Lethal with elbows but ACH stops Lethal from trying the Lethal injection with another waist lock.
Lethal with more elbows. Lethal calls for the Lethal Injection again and ACH with another waist lock. Lethal with elbows to the shoulder and then he connects with an elbow to the head and ACH falls through the ropes and to the floor.
ACH hit the table as he fell to the floor. The referee checks on ACH and they check on his neck.
We go to commercial.
We are back and they are still checking on ACH and Sydal walks with ACH to the back. Lethal takes a seat on the apron to watch and he talks about the power of his elbow. ACH fights his way back to the ring and he chops Lethal. ACH and Lethal with punches. ACH sends Lethal into the guardrails while holding his neck.
Lethal is rolled back into the ring. Lethal with a knee to the midsection followed by an elbow to the neck. Lethal with knee drops to the back of the neck. Lethal gets a near fall. Lethal with more knees to the back of the neck followed by a stomp on the hand. Lethal gets a near fall. Lethal with a reverse chin lock into a side head lock. The referee checks to see if ACH is conscious and the arm does not drop a third time.
ACH with punches followed by chops but he holds his neck. Lethal with a knee and a chop in the corner. Lethal misses an elbow in the corner and ACH with an elbow and clothesline. ACH with a chop to Lethal. ACH tries for an Irish whip but Lethal holds on to the ropes and ACH falls to the mat. ACH with a roaring elbow to Lethal. ACH misses an enzuigiri but hits a mule kick. ACH is sent to the apron but ACH with a stunner onto the top rope.
ACH goes up top and hits a double stomp to the back of the neck and he gets a near fall. ACH continues to hold his neck and he pulls Lethal into position for the 450 splash but ACH has trouble getting up top. Lethal stops ACH and he connects with forearms. Lethal sends ACH to the apron but he misses a punch. ACH with an enzuigiri followed by a springboard flatline, but ACH holds his neck.
Lethal goes to the floor and he hits the springboard flip dive onto Lethal. ACH goes up top for the 450 splash but he sees Lethal moving so ACH rolls through when he hits the mat. ACH tries for a round kick but Lethal ducks. Lethal ducks a second time, but the third time is the charm for ACH because he connects.
ACH gets a near fall. ACH with a forearm to the back and ACH goes to the turnbuckles but Lethal grabs the leg. ACH kicks Lethal away. Lethal sends ACH into the middle turnbuckle and then he hits a super kick followed by Lethal Injection but ACH kicks out at one. Lethal with a package DDT and he gets the three count.
Winner: Jay Lethal
After the match, Matt Sydal goes into the ring to check on ACH and Sydal has something to say to Lethal and Truth.
Sydal offers his hand to Lethal, but he pulls it away. Sydal points to the television title belt.
