- Gerald Brisco, who is an agent for WWE, has been trying to recruit athletes to WWE that normally would have tried to perform in mixed martial arts. He has also been trying to recruit hockey players. The plan is to convince them to join by using Brock Lesnar as an example. He is telling them that they’ll have a longer career in wrestling and will make more money as they could follow Lesnar’s career path.
Opinionated View- As I always say recruit wrestlers you know people that want to be pro wrestlers. Using Lesnar doesn't' actually work. Brock started as a pro wrestler he was recruited out college after winning the NCAA title. He hated wrestling he hated the grind of it. He quit to go to MMA well football first than MMA. And I think most would agree if Brock hadn't gotten sick he would have stayed in MMA. Its just his UFC success and the fact WWE is desperate allowed him to come back and work a deal where he shows every couple of months.
