-Michael Cole and JBL are the only two people on commentary this week.
(1) Stardust vs. Jey Uso
There’s nobody at ringside for some reason. Stardust controls the first few minutes of the match, attacking Jey in the ropes and using several referee counts. Jey fires back with a big right hand, but Stardust beats him down in the ropes and continues his assault. He comes up empty on a second rope dive, and Uso takes advantage with a springboard crossbody for two. Stardust back in control with a cheap shot, but he runs into a superkick and gets rolled up for three.
Winner: Jey Uso
More backstage drama with Tyson Kidd and Natalya. She gives him a pep talk before his match, but he’s got his Beats on and is completely ignoring Nattie.
(2) Curtis Axel vs. Justin Gabriel
Michael Cole calls this a “return from injury”, but from what we know Axel was just taken off TV because Ryback was injured.
Gabriel is too fast at the stat of the match, and it frustrates Axel. He takes that out on him with a number of hard elbows, right hands and shoulder tackles. Axel drops into a side headlock, but eventually Gabriel gets free and takes control with kicks all over the body. They end up colliding heads in the corner, which takes them both down. Gabriel up first, and he splashes them both to the floor. Axel throws him off the barricade and into the steel steps, then throws him into the ring and hits a running knee strike for the win.
Winner: Curtis Axel
Michael Cole puts over NXT and they run a video package on Sami Zayn.
(3) Tyson Kidd vs. Sami Zayn
Tyson wins one armdrag and starts posturing with the crowd. They lock up and Tyson puts on a side headlock, but Sami gets free and tosses him across the ring with a snap armdrag. Zayn shows off with a few more armdrags, and Tyson gets mad, responding with hard elbow shots. Sami blocks a punch on the apron, but ends up getting dropkicked to the floor. Kidd follows up with a big neckbreaker on the floor, and makes Natalya kiss him before rolling back.
They take a commercial break, and Tyson is 100% in control after. They show footage of during, where Kidd hit a turnbuckle dropkick with Sami tied in the tree of woe. He stays ahead for a few minutes, slowing down with rest holds, but Zayn comes back with dropkicks and armdrags. He runs into boots in the corner, and Tyson hits him with a gorgeous 450 neckbreaker off the top rope. He hits a springboard legdrop on the apron, followed up with a springboard elbow drop for two.
Out of nowhere, Sami hits the Blue Thunder Bomb for a close nearfall. He psyches himself up and tries for a suplex over the ropes, but Kidd blocks it and gets a sunset flip pin for two. They trade pinning attempts and it ends with Tyson getting a handful of tights for three.
Winner: Tyson Kidd
-Footage of the Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton feud from RAW last night. Cole announces that Orton has shown “concussion-like symptoms” and that he will not be a part of any team at Survivor Series. Bray Wyatt in action, next.
(4) Sin Cara vs. Bray Wyatt
Wyatt steamrolls Sin Cara and throws him into the corner, following up with right hands and knee strikes. Sin Cara springboards over him, but is caught with an uppercut. He throws him into the turnbuckles a few times, but Cara dumps him to the floor and follows up with a suicide dive. Back in the ring he hits a few kicks, but gets taken down with a flying shoulder tackle. Another comeback attempt for Sin Cara with some high flying stuff, but he gets caught with a Full Nelson slam. Bray does the spider walk thing (Cara no-sells it) then hits Sister Abigail for the 1-2-3.
Winner: Bray Wyatt
