WWE announces that Houston will host Survivor Series weekend in November 2017, including NXT and TV tapings

The Houston Chronicle has a new article up on Thursday morning that announces that next year’s WWE Survivor Series PPV will be taking place at the Toyota Center in Houston on November 19, 2017. This will be the 30th edition of the Survivor Series PPV that started back in 1987.

The article notes that WWE will be at the Toyota Center for four straight nights next November, including a NXT TakeOver special the night before Survivor Series and TV Tapings for RAW and Smackdown Live the two nights after the Survivor Series as well.

WWE EVP of Special Events John Saboor commented on the announcement:
“There is amazing heritage and history in WWE’s relationship with Houston and all of Texas. We are excited to work with key stakeholders in Houston to positively leverage that important heritage and build a strong Survivor Series weekend and celebration.”
Travel packages for Survivor Series weekend in Houston are slated to go on sale on December 6, while individual tickets for the Survivor Series will go on sale on December 9.
