Backstage News On How Announcers Were Told To Call Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg Match

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE announcers were instructed to call the Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg Survivor Series Match like a fight, to make it feel different than everything else on the show. Dave Meltzer noted that WWE feels that today’s audience is familiar enough with UFC to know that fights can end quickly and explosively and that they wouldn’t feel ripped off or dissatisfied with the quick finish.

Opinionated View- Look I'm normally all for doing what you can to make wrestling feel more like a fight but this is not UFC. So when Ronda Rousey tosses someone on there ass and arm bars them or Conor McGregor rears back and turns Aldo in a crying man child we know it's real. But we also know WWE is not real. And they spent a month hyping this up as something huge as a mega match and watch the two monsters colloid. Than they do that. Than again we should happy since the short match was awful and both guy looked board a long match would have been a disaster.
