Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semi-Final Match: DIY vs The Authors of Pain

Ciampa and Akum start the match. Akum forces Ciampa into the corner. Ciampa locks in a side headlock. Akum pushes Ciampa away. Ciampa tags in Gargano. Gargano and Ciampa each hit dropkicks on Akum. Akum staggers but doesn’t go down. Gargano tries to hit another dropkick, but Akum moves out of the way. Rahzar and Ciampa get in the ring and this devolves into an all out brawl. Akum and Rahzar try to whip Ciampa and Gargano into each other, but Gargano and Ciampa catch dosey-doe. Ciampa hits a high knee on Rahzar and Gargano hits a super kick on Akum. Rahzar and Akum retreat to the outside. Gargano attempts a dive, but Akum and Rahzar catch him. Ciampa tries to dive as well, but Akum and Rahzar hit him with Gargano (yes, you read that correctly).

After a short break, Akum is standing on Gargano’s neck. The Authors of Pain take turns working over Gargano. Gargano manages to tag in Ciampa. Ciampa knocks Akum off the apron and hit multiple running big boots on Rahzar. Ciampa and Rahzar trade strikes. Ciampa knees Rahzar’s head off then attempts a German Suplex. Rahzar fights out of it. Ciampa hits another knee and German suplexes Rahzar for a two count. Rahzar picks up Ciampa in a fireman’s carry. Gargano goes up top for a splash, but Rahzar catches him as well! Rahzar Samoan drops Ciampa and fallaway slams Gargano at the same time!

The Authors of Pain attempt the double powerbomb, but Gargano and Ciampa reverse it into hurricanrannas. Two count on the roll up by Gargano. Gargano and Ciampa dump the Authors of Pain to the outside once again. Ciampa hits a running knee off the apron on Akum. Gargano hits a running blockbuster off the apron on Rahzar. Ciampa and Gargano hit their finish, but Paul Ellering distracts the Referee. The Revival comes from under the ring and attack Gargano. The Authors of Pain hit their finisher for the win.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Semi-Final Match: TM61 vs SAnity

Before the bell rings Fulton and Wolfe attack Miller and Thorne. Thorne is thrown from the top rope to back first onto the ring apron. Eric Young and Nikki Cross join in the attack. Young sends Miller head first into the steel steps. After a short break, the bell rings and Thorne jumps on Wolfe but gets swatted like a fly. Wolfe and Fulton hit a heart attack into a European uppercut for a near fall. Fulton and Wolfe take turns beating down Thorne. Miller is still out on the outside of the ring.

Wolfe… “dances” around the ring as if he is a woman who has been set on fire. Wolfe stops reenacting an Alanis Morissette video long enough to lock in a trapezius lock. Miller crawls up to the apron and Throne almost get to him, but Wolfe knocks Miller off the apron. Thorne finally manages to tag in Miller, who lands a few stiff elbows to Fulton’s head. Wolfe gets back int the ring and eats a big back suplex from Miller. Wolfe and Fulton set up their finisher, but Thorne appears out of nowhere and dropkicks Fulton. Miller rolls up Wolfe for the win!

Backstage, William Regal says due to The Revival’s interference in DIY’s match tonight he is going to make the following match: The Revival will defend the NXT Tag Team Championship against DIY. It will be a 2-out of-3 falls match.

Ember Moon vs Rachel Evers
Evers knocks Moon to the mat. Evers hits the ropes, but Moon takes her over with a pop up ‘ranna. Moon misses a springboard splash. Evers locks in a surfboard hold. Moon fights out but ends up getting sent head first onto the mat. Moon hits multiple elbows, followed by a sick kick. Moon hits her front flip corner clothesline, followed by the O-face for the win!

NXT Title Contract Signing:

William Regal is in the ring surrounded by Security. Regal introduces NXT Champion Shinsuke Nakamura. Nakamura makes his way to the ring. Regal calls out Samoa Joe. Joe walks out on the ramp. Joe turns around and goes to the back. Joe comes back out dragging a table with two chairs. Joe says he would love to come to the ring, but since he knows Regal’s security will protect Nakamura, but they clearly can’t protect Joe. Joe said it’s best for Nakamura, because if Joe comes to the ring he can make Nakamura leave on a stretcher. Joe tell Regal to walk down the ramp and bring him the contract now. Regal reluctantly obliges. Joe signs and goes to hand Regal the contract. Before Regal touches it, Joe drops it on the table. Regal just shakes his head, picks it up and walks to the ring.

Regal hands Nakamura the contract. Nakamura drops it and systematically destroys all of the security guards. Nakamura doesn’t take his eyes off Joe. Nakamura powerbombs one of the Security Guards through a table. Nakamura signs the contract and drops it on the fallen Security Guard.
