11/17 TNA Impact Wrestling Report

The DCC, Eddie Edwards and Jeff Hardy In-Ring Segment: 
With winning the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, Edwards knew that there was going to be an massive target on his back. Edwards is fine with that. You don’t step into the ring without knowing you can get your ass kicked. Edwards has no problem with that. The thing is, Edwards feels like he’s a stand up guy. Edwards looks into each of his opponents eyes and tells them what’s going down. Look what happen to Bobby Lashley and Eli Drake. Now you have James Storm and his buddies coming down to the ring and attacking him. It’s apparent that, the DCC doesn’t care about rules or championships, they care about creating chaos and anarchy.

That’s a-okay with Edwards because he’s a fighter and he likes chaos and anarchy. Edwards is ready to fight, he’s not going to leave this ring until the DCC come out. The DCC comes down to the ring. Edwards tries to attack Storm, but Kingston attacks Edwards from behind. Kingston chokes Edwards in the corner. Kingston asks Edwards if he wants to fight? Edwards with a running clothesline to Kingston. Edwards follows that up with a running back elbow. Edwards transitions into the ground and pound attack, but the DCC storm into the ring to attack Edwards. James Storm was about to hit Edwards in the skull with the TNA World Title, but Jeff Hardy storms down to the ring. Hardy drops Bram with a big right hand on the outside. Hardy with a Twist of Fate to Kingston. Hardy gets into Storms face. Storm proceeds to walk down the ring steps.



First Match: Aron Rex vs. Jessie Godderz

Godderz goes immediately for the Adonis Lock, but Rex blocks it. Rex lands a big right hand. Godderz lands two forearm strikes. Godderz bounces Rex’s head on the top turnbuckle. Godderz rams his knee to the gut of Rex. Godderz continues to the beatdown with a uppercut. Godderz stomps on the gut of Rex. Godderz with a uppercut that sends Rex into the ropes. Godderz kicks Rex in the ribs. Godderz with a corner mount to Rex. Godderz with a drop toe hold. Godderz tries to get Rex in the Adonis Lock, but Rex rakes the eyes of Godderz.

Rex with a series of clubbing blows to the back of Edwards. Rex gets Edwards trapped in the middle rope. Rex snap mares Godderz. Rex follows that up with a knee drop for a one count. Rex applies a side headlock. Godderz with three back elbows to the get out of the hold. Rex goes for a vertical suplex, but Godderz counters with the inside cradle for a two count. Rex lands a powerful clothesline. Rex drives his knee to the back of Godderz. Rex with a series of clubbing blows to the chest of Godderz. Rex goes back to the side headlock.

Godderz lands a deep armdrag. Rex tosses Godderz to the outside. Rex sends Godderz back first into the steel guard rail at ringside. Rex with more clubbing blows to the chest of Godderz who’s laid flat on the ring apron. Rex chokes Godderz with his boot. Rex lands a elbow drop for a two count. Rex applies a leg scissors submission hold. Godderz fines an unique way to get out of the leg scissors.

Rex with more shots to the back of Godderz. Rex continues to ground Godderz with the side headlock. Godderz kicks Rex in the gut. Godderz with a series of clotheslines. Godderz rakes the eyes of Rex. Godderz tosses Rex to the outside. Godderz bounces Rex’s head on the ring apron and a steel chair. Godderz rolls Rex back into the ring. Godderz goes to the corner mount. Godderz with a leg lariat to the back of Rex’s head for a two count. Godderz goes for a back suplex, but Rex blocks it. Rex chop blocks Godderz. Rex goes for the Royal Arch, but Godderz shoves him away. Godderz gets Rex in the Adonis Lock and Rex taps out.
Winner: Jessie Godderz via Submission 

Sienna, Laurel Van Ness, Allie and Maria Kanellis Bennett Backstage Segment: 
Van Ness is laughing with Sienna. Van Ness is looking at a text chain she’s having with Braxton Sutter. Allie wants to know if Van Ness is talking to Mr. Sutter. Van Ness says that she does alot more than just texting with Sutter. Maria says that it seems like some people don’t know their place in this company. Some people think they’re hot stuff and now poor Brandi Rhodes is all alone.

Now that her husband got himself hurt. Maria calls Sienna and Van Ness the two most beautiful and dominant women in the Knockouts Division. Nobody is going to want to team with Brandi Rhodes. Isn’t that right, Allie ? Allie is struggling to make up her mind whether or not she wants to be Rhodes tag team partner. Allie tells Maria that she would never go against her. Maria says that Allie needs her. Sienna says that nobody is dumb enough to go against them. Sienna, Maria and Van Ness continue to bully Allie.

Gail Kim Announcement: 

Gail announces to Jeremy Borash that due to being medically unable to compete, she’ll be surrendering the TNA Knockout’s Championship. Gail suffered the injury in her previous match with Maria Kanellis. Rosemary added on to the injury last week. A brand new will be crowned in two weeks.

Second Match: Sienna & Laurel Van Ness w/Maria Kanellis Bennett & Allie vs. Brandi Rhodes & Madison Rayne 
Maria sends Allie to the back because she gets confused sometimes. Brandi informs Maria that her tag team partner is, Madison Rayne. Madison hugs Allie on the stage. Van Ness and Brandi starts things off. Van Ness talks smack to Brandi. Brandi proceeds to chase Maria around the ring. Brandi grabs Maria by her hair. Brandi ducks a running clothesline by Van Ness. Van Ness’s momentum lead her to attack Madison who’s on the ring apron. Brandi tags in Madison. Madison ducks a clothesline from Van Ness. Madison with a clothesline of her own. Madison with a series of forearm strikes to Van Ness. Madison transitions into a forearm/chop combination. Madison slaps Van Ness. Van Ness tags in Sienna.

Madison ducks a clothesline from Sienna. Madison knocks Van Ness off the ring apron. Madison with a palm strike to the chest of Sienna. Madison backs Sienna into the corner. Madison lands two forearm strikes in the corner. Madison applies a front face lock. Sienna launches Madison to other side of the ring. Van Ness grabs Madison by her hair. Sienna with a running clubbing blow to the back of Madison’s neck. Sienna runs through Madison in the corner. Sienna with two forearm strikes to the chest of Madison. Sienna tags in Van Ness. Van Ness applies a ring rope leg scissors. Van Ness tags in Sienna. Sienna lands a knife edge chop. Van Ness continues to attack Madison behind the referee’s back. Sienna proceeds to choke Madison. Sienna goes for a pin, but Madison kicks out at the count of two. Sienna continues to apply more pressure to the back of Madison.

Van Ness with a series of hair whips. Van Ness goes for the pin, but Madison kicks out at the count of two. Madison with a rolling crucifix for a two count. Van Ness with a clubbing blow to the back of Madison. Van Ness connects with a snap suplex with a nonchalant cover for a two count. Van Ness goes for a Curb Stomp, but both women are knock down by a double clothesline.


Sienna and Brandi are finally tagged in. Brandi with two running clotheslines. Sienna kicks Brandi in the gut. Sienna with a series of forearms to Brandi. Brandi dropkicks Sienna into the corner. Brandi with a rolling back elbow to Sienna. Brandi follows that up with a knee strike for a two count as Van Ness breaks it up. Madison with a leg lariat to the head of Van Ness. Madison rolls Van Ness to the outside. Sienna goes for the AK-47, but Brandi counters with the Reverse STO to pickup the victory.
Winner: Brandi Rhodes & Madison Rayne 

First BROKEN Matt Hardy & Reby Hardy Segment: 
Matt is repeatedly pressing the delete button on his keyboard. Reby finds out that Broken Matt is sucking on a lollipop. Reby says that Matt never eats candy. Call him crazy, but Broken Matt has a sweet tooth. Besides Rebecca, he felt obligated because there was so much candy left over from the trick or treaters. Reby says that if they didn’t give away all the green beans, there wouldn’t be any candy. Broken Matt wants to why would anyone give trick or treaters green beans? That sounds absolutely absurd, there’s no way that happen that’s an exaggeration.

Reby informs Matt that he’s deleting email’s and eating candy while his brother is fighting alone. Broken Matt certainly hopes that Jeff doesn’t get injured, but considering his behavior recently, he was acting like a savage and maybe he’ll learn an important life lesson. Violece doesn’t work, communication does. Broken Matt is upset with the fact Jeff destroyed his custards. Reby walks away with King Maxel. Broken Matt goes back to deleting email’s. There’s a spam email from the Young Bucks and Broken Matt unsubscribes from a newsletter. Broken sees the scribe again. Reby comes back into the office and says that Matt has amnesia. Reby wants to show Matt some videos in attempt to restore his memory.

Third Match: Trevor Lee vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Mike Bennett vs. Ethan Carter III in a Fatal Four Way Match To Determine The Number One Contender To The TNA World Heavyweight Championship 

EC3 with a series of clubbing blows to the back of Lashley immediately after the bell rings. EC3 with right hands to Lee and Bennett. EC3 eats a back elbow from Lashley in the corner. Lashley follows that up with a running clothesline. Lashley bounces EC3’s head on the top turnbuckle. Lashley, Bennett and Lee mobs EC3 in the corner. Lashley and Bennett chokes EC3 with their perspective boots. Lashley tosses EC3 to the outside. Bennett rolls Lashley up from behind for a two count. Lee rolls Bennett up for a two count. Lashley with a running double clothesline to Bennett and Lee. Lashley with corner spears to Bennett and Lee. Lashley Bennett into Lee. Lashley connects with a delayed vertical suplex. Lashley launches Lee onto EC3 on the outside. Lee with a running knee strike to EC3. Lee tells Bennett to double team EC3.

EC3 with a back elbow to Lee. EC3 with a boot to the face of Bennett. Lashley goes for a corner Spear, but EC3 sends Lashley shoulder first into the steel ring post. EC3 goes for a german suplex, but Lashley blocks it. Lashley connects with a standing german suplex. Lee with a running boot to the face of Lashley. Lee and Bennett tosses Lashley to the outside. Bennett with a neck breaker to EC3. Lee stomps on EC3’s chest. Bennett with a low dropkick to the face of EC3. The onslaught continues as Lee lands another running boot. Lee and Bennett whips EC3 back first into the turnbuckles. Lee and Bennett with a double suplex to EC3. Bennett goes for a pin, but Lee breaks up the pin attempt.

Now Lee goes for the pin, but likewise Bennett breaks up the pin attempt. Bennett and Lee begin to argue. Bennett with a forearm strike that knocks Lashley off the ring apron. Lee goes for a pin, but EC3 kicks out at the count of one. Lee applies a rear chin lock. Bennett and Lee shakes hands. EC3 fires up with a series of knife edge chops to the chest of both Lee and Bennett. Bennett with a running clothesline to EC3 for a one count. Bennett dropkicks Lashley off the ring apron.Lee uppercuts EC3. Lee and EC3 engage in back and forth forearm strikes. EC3 with a boot to the gut of Lee. Lee responds with a dropkick for a two count as Bennett drags him off of EC3’s body. Bennett and Lee begin to argue again.


Bennett rams his shoulders repeatedly to the midsection of EC3. Bennett with a corner clothesline followed by a running boot. Lee goes for a pin attempt for a two count as Bennett for the fourth time drags Lee off of EC3. Lee and Bennett begin to brawl. EC3 explodes out of the corner with a series of clotheslines to Bennett and Lee. EC3 with a jawbreaker to Lee. EC3 with the EC3 Splash to Lee. EC3 with a right hand that knocks Lashley off the ring apron. EC3 connects with another EC3 Splash to Bennett. EC3 with two consecutive flapjacks to Bennett and Lee. EC3 goes for a Double One Percenter, but Bennett and Lee shoves EC3 into a Spear by Lashley.

Lee with a leaping forearm to Lashley. Bennett with an ace crusher to Lashley. Lee plants Bennett with a deadlift german suplex for a two count. Lee goes for the Fisherman’s Brain Buster, but EC3 blocks it. EC3 goes for the TK3, but Lee gets back on his feet. Lee with a leaping knee strike to EC3. Bennett SuperKick’s EC3. Bennett proceeds to SuperKick Lee. Bennett plants EC3 with a spine buster. Bennett to continue the sequence drops Lee with a spine buster.

Lashley plants Bennett with a spine buster of his own. Lashley goes for the Spear, but Lee counters with the Collision Course. Lee with a boot to the face of Bennett. Lee connects with the double stomp. Lee with a running punt from the ring apron to EC3. Lee connects with a slingshot plancha onto EC3 and Lashley on the outside. Lee brings EC3 back into the ring. Lee ascends to the top rope. Bennett shoves Lee off the top rope. EC3 with a right hand that knocks Bennett off the ring apron. EC3 connects with the TK3. EC3 gets Lee in a rear naked choke and Lee taps out.
Winner: Ethan Carter III via Submission 

Second BROKEN Matt Hardy and Reby Hardy Segment: 

Reby shows Matt video from Maxel’s first birthday party. Broken Matt wants to know how much that party cost? Matt is surprised to see himself when Vanguard 1 appears on the screen. We see the clip of Broken Matt riding the lawn mower through Jeff’s front yard. Matt wants to know why he would ruin his brother’s beautiful landscaping.

Why would Matt do such an evil thing? We see more clips of the original final deletion. Matt asks Reby when he started to play the violin? Reby is speechless. Matt is surprised that he was shooting fireworks at his flesh and blood. Matt has seen enough of the final deletion and walks out of the office. Matt does his premonition yell. Looks like he’s coming down with a cold. It must be the change of seasons.

Eli Drake’s It’s A Fact of Life with Special Guest Ethan Carter III:

Drake has had a little to calm down during the commercial break. He was quite annoyed initially that EC3 comes out with another TNA World Title Opportunity. In this moment of disappointment, Drake has found a way to earn an his opportunity. That’s exactly what Drake is going to do. Drake tells EC3 to come out. Drake tells EC3 to take a seat, there’s no need to fight right now. EC3 kicks the chair away. Drake wants to know why EC3 always has to make things awkward? Drake comes out here to extend the olive branch because here’s what he’s thinking. The last few times EC3 has went out there to compete for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, he choked. Let’s call a spade a spade. Drake tells a dummy to shut up.

Drake is gonna stop EC3 from further embarrassment by extending an offer to create history next week. EC3 vs. ELI Drake for EC3’s World Title Shot. EC3 acts like he’s the man around here, and some people follow that narrative, but what EC3 doesn’t realize is that all of those people are dummies. Drake hits the dummy button. Drake says that EC3 has the opportunity to proved that he’s the real man. If he doesn’t, Drake will do what he originally plan and that’s walk out there and become champion. EC3 says that Drake basically stole the offer he made a couple weeks ago. Let’s call a spade a spade, EC3 declines Drakes offer. EC3 walks away, Drake tells him to stop.

Drake says that EC3 has accomplished alot here in TNA and he wanted to see if there’s one more thing that EC3 needed to prove to everybody. Drake says that EC3 has been in a decline recently, but he wants to help get in the incline. Drake says that if EC3 wins, Drake will not get any TNA World Title opportunities for an entire calendar year. EC3 says that’s a interesting proposition. EC3 wants Drake to be in the title scene. EC3 says that he’s at his best when people are chasing after him. EC3 wants this roster to be the very best competitive roster in wrestling and they’re getting really close.

EC3 declines Drake’s offer. EC3 knows that Drake is not ready to become champion. He knows that Drake wants to be champion. EC3 challenges Drake to a match to see who’s the better man. EC3 says that Drake needs to put his voice on the line. If Drake loses, he’ll be no longer allowed to talk for the rest of the year which means no more dummy yeah’s. Drake accepts EC3’s offer. EC3 grabs the mic and says never again. Drake hit’s the dummy button as EC3 walks away.

Fourth Match: Basille Baraka vs. Mahabali Shera 
Baraka and Shera engage in back and forth right hands. Baraka rakes the eyes of Shera. Baraka with a running STO. Baraka chokes Shera. Baraka rams his knee to the back of Shera’s neck. Baraka with a forearm strike to the chest of Shera. Shera ducks a clothesline from Baraka. Shera with a running haymaker. Baraka with a running crossbody for a two count. Baraka goes to the ground and pound attack. Baraka with a clubbing blow to the back of Shera. Baraka lands a leg drop for a two count.
Baraka rams Shera’s back on the canvas. Baraka goes for a flying crossbody off the second rope, but Shera catches him in mid-air. Shera drops Baraka with a powerslam. Shera sends Baraka shoulder first into the top turnbuckle. Shera with a Stinger Splash. Shera connects with the flying shoulder tackle. Shera bodyslams Baraka.Shera goes for a submission hold, but Baraka rolls him up with hand full of tights for a two count.

Shera with a huge bodyslam. Shera gets Baraka in the Camel Clutch and Baraka taps out. After the match, Baron Dax attacks Shera from behind. Dax connects with Final Judgment. Baraka with a low blow to Shera. AL Snow comes down to the ring with a coaches whistle. The Tribunal tells AL Snow to get the hell out of here. Al Snow comes into the ring and starts attacking The Tribunal. The Tribunal heads to the back. AL Snow and Shera do the mega power’s handshake.

Winner: Mahabali Shera via Submission 

Jade and Rosemary will be fighting over the Vacated TNA Knockout’s Title.

Fifth Match: The DCC vs. Eddie Edwards & Jeff Hardy 
Edwards and Hardy storm into the ring before the bell rings. The DCC are mobbing both Edwards and Hardy. Kingston with a series of right hands to Hardy. Edwards clotheslines Storm over the top rope. Bram with a series of clubbing blows to the back of Edwards. Hardy tosses Kingston to the outside. Hardy drops Bram with the Twist of Fate. Hardy ascends to the top rope. Kingston rolls Bram out of the ring. Edwards with a suicide dive to the DCC. Hardy follows suit and connects with a flying crossbody off the top turnbuckle. Storm with a back elbow to the gut of Hardy. Storm bounces Hardy’s head on the steel ring step. Edwards sends Bram face first into the steel ring post.
Edwards follows that up by sending Kingston face first into the steel. Storm with a right hand to the jaw of Hardy. The DCC are double teaming Edwards. Kingston drives his knee to the gut of Edwards. Kingston sends Edwards sternum first into the steel guard rail. Storm with a running boot to Edwards. Kingston rolls Edwards into the ring. Kingston with a over the head belly to belly suplex to Edwards for a two count. Bram and Kingston are continuing the beatdown of Edwards. Kingston lands a knife edge chop. Kingston rakes the eyes of Edwards. Bram with a short-arm clothesline for a two count. Kingston stomps on Edwards gut. Bram and Kingston connect with a double suplex. Bram goes for the cover, but Edwards kicks out at the count of two. Bram wedges a chair in between the middle rope.

Bram sends Edwards face first into the canvas. Edwards lights up the chest of Bram with a collection of knife edge chops. Bram rams his knee to the gut of Edwards. Edwards tosses Bram to the outside. Kingston with a STO to Edwards. Hardy hits Storm in the back repeatedly with the steel chair. Kingston sets up two chairs in the middle of the ring. Kingston goes for a suplex, but Edwards blocks it. Edwards proceeds to suplex Kingston on the two chairs. Kingston rolls to the outside. Storm tosses the chairs to the outside. Edwards ducks a clothesline from Storm.


Storm connects with a backstabber to Edwards. Hardy with a split legged dropkick to Storm. Hardy with a diving splash for a two count. Hardy connects with a jaw breaker. Storm sends Hardy face first into the steel chair that’s placed in between the turnbuckles. Storm connects with the Eye of the Storm for a two count. Edwards with a step up kick to the back of Storm’s head. Bram with a running clothesline to Edwards. Bram with the Brighter Side of Suffering to Edwards off the ring apron through the table at ringside. Storm and Hardy are trading blows in the middle of the ring. Hardy connects with the Twist of Fate, but Storm falls back into the ropes. Hardy goes for another Twist of Fate, but Storm counters with the Last Call SuperKick to pickup the victory.
Winner: The DCC
