Top Star Reportedly Not Working WWE Backlash (SPOILERS)

PWInsider reports that Randy Orton will not compete in tonight’s match with Bray Wyatt at WWE Backlash. There’s no word on how WWE will handle the cancellation of the match in regards to storylines. Orton is backstage in Richmond, Virgina, but hasn’t been cleared after the TKO finish against Brock Lesnar at Summerslam. WWE was hoping it would happen this week but it didn’t work out that way. There’s also a chance that the Orton/Lesnar rematch for September 24 in Chicago will not happen as planned, depending on if Orton can get cleared or not.

Opinionated View- So wait potentially Wyatt doesn't have to job out and I don't have to see a slow plodding and boring Randy Orton match. WIN WIN WIN! Although I would point out if WWE had been smart and really wanted to sell the beat down Orton took hold him off a month or so. In the mean time have Wyatt do a short feud with someone get a win. Than you have Orton returning to face someone with momentum and now you don't have the scramble to explain a card change.
