Show opens with a look at recent happenings between ROH and New Japan and a look at the build to Jay Lethal vs. Colt Cabana for the ROH Title in the main event.
Commentary welcomes us to the sold-out Frontier Fieldhouse in Chicago. They run down the big matches on the show and the tease of a new Bullet Club member, then we go to the opening match.
Four Corner Survival, TV Title #1 Contenders Match: Roderick Strong vs. Adam Page vs. ACH vs. Dalton Castle w/The Boys
ACH is dressed up as the LuFi character from the anime series “One Piece.” Big reaction for Castle in Chi-Town. Commentary notes that in this match, tag rules will apply. Commentary notes that ROH founder Cary Silkin couldn’t make the show due to travel issues. Strong and Page do not adhere to the Code of Honor before the bell.
ACH and Page start. Page with a shoulder tackle, followed by a spinning heel kick for a 1 count. ACH with a backflip and a dropkick to Page, then he does a ‘Ballin’ gesture. “ACH” chants. Strong tags himself in and goes to work on Page in the corner. Page comes back with a 2nd Rope Missile Dropkick, Strong tags out to Castle. Castle does his back bend to taunt Page, goading him in. Page blocks the Deadlift German, but Castle does his Peacock gesture. Strong tags back in as Castle clotheslines Page outside. Castle does the Peacock Walk, but Strong nails him from behind to boos from the crowd.
Back suplex by Strong for 2. Page tags himself in and drills Castle with a shot as he and Strong argue. Castle fights back, but Page with a snap slam, however Strong breaks up the pin. Strong tags back in and drills Castle with stinging chops, bullying him around the ring. Castle fights back, but Strong with a dropkick for 2. “Fan Up” chants for Castle. Castle knocks Page off the apron, but Strong with another chop. Castle then with an Exploder Suplex. Running high knee by Castle in the apron, then he drapes Strong across the top rope. Page comes in, but Castle with a T-Bone Suplex to Page. Strong leaps off the ropes, but Castle catches him in mid-air and hits a Standing Bearhug Suplex Throw. ACH tags in, but Castle knocks him off. ACH comes back with Get Over Here! on Castle. Castle wipes out Strong with a tope suicida while at the same time, Page hits ACH with the Flip Back In Lariat for 2. ACH puts on the brakes off a whip and hits Page with a sliding kick. Page with a shot on the apron, then wipes out Strong and Castle with the Running Shooting Star Press off the apron! Crowd chants for ACH as he gets a head of steam, AIR JORDAN WIPES OUT EVERYONE!!!
Back in, ACH heads up top for Midnight Star, but Strong crotches him. Enziguri by Strong to Castle, then running corner forearms to everyone. Inverted Back Suplex to Castle, then a Top Rope Superplex to ACH. Strong holds on, Death by Roderick to ACH. Strong avoids Page’s Flip Over Lariat and hits him with the Sick Kick! Castle back in, Bang-a-Rang to Strong on top of Page!
Castle covers Page for the win.

The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Kazarian) vs. Jushin Liger & Cheeseburger
BIG reaction for Liger in Chicago. Cheeseburger comes out wearing a Liger-inspired Cheeseburger kinda mask. Commentary notes that this is Cheeseburger’s PPV debut. “Cheeseburger” chants to the tune of the New Day chants. Daniels refuses the Code of Honor by Cheeseburger, but Cheeseburger demands he does. Shoving match ensues as the bell sounds.
Cheeseburger with a kick to Daniels, but Daniels avoids the Shotei. Kazarian in, but Cheeseburger gets free and tags in Liger. Liger takes down Kazarian into the Rocking Horse, but Daniels breaks it up. Liger nails him with a Shotei. Cheeseburger with the blind tag and Liger and Cheeseburger hit a double dropkick on Kazarian, then both do Liger’s classic muscle pose. Kazarian and Cheeseburger trade slaps, then nails Daniels off the apron, but Daniels nails him from behind, allowing Kazarian to hit a clothesline, then knock Liger off the apron.
Kazarian unloads on Cheeseburger as the Addiction begin to take control, making quick tags. Slingshot elbow/leg drop combo by the Addiction for 2. Kazarian taunts the crowd, then hits a Standing Gutwrench Suplex on Cheeseburger. Daniels back in, back suplexes Kazarian onto Cheeseburger, then hits a Lionsault and puts his foot on Cheeseburger’s chest for 2. Crowd wills on Cheeseburger. Cheeseburger comes back and tags in Liger.
Liger makes a comeback, but the Addiction cuts him off and hit him with Celebrity Rehab, with Liger landing on his head. Cheeseburger breaks up the pin and tags in, Shotei to Kazarian, but Daniels with 2 STOs to Cheeseburger.
Daniels goes for the Standing Urnangi, but Cheeseburger counters it with a Victory Roll to upset Daniels!

Afterwards, Addiction attack Liger and Cheeseburger from behind. Low-blow to Cheeseburger, then the Addiction lay him out with the Best Meltzer Ever. Daniels yells that he broke Cheeseburger’s neck as attendants rush in to check on him. We see replays of the Best Meltzer Ever as the Addiction leave to a lot of boos.
We see a video package on the rivalry and series of matches between The Briscoes and War Machine heading into tonight’s Tag Title match.
ROH Tag Team Titles: War Machine (Hanson and Raymond Rowe) (c’s) vs. The Briscoes (Jay and Mark)
“Man Up” chants for The Briscoes. War Machine come out rocking their war face paint. Pre-match intros for this one. Code of Honor adhered to by all 4 before the bell.
Mark and Hanson start. Mark unloads with shots early, but Hanson backs him up. Hanson chucks Mark outside, then Rowe sends Mark into the barricade multiple times. Back in, Hanson gets 2. Rowe in, big forearm to Mark. Series of knee strikes by Rowe, Hanson tags in. Hanson with a slam, then Rowe slams Hanson on top for Mark for 2. Mongolian Chop by Hanson, but Jay sends him outside. Mark wipes out Rowe with a Through-the-Ropes Dropkick. Jay in, Double Suplex by the Briscoes to Hanson for 2.
Jay with an avalanche to Hanson in the corner, then a running boot for 2. Mark in, avalanche in the corner to Hanson, followed by a Russian Leg Sweep for a 1 count. Hanson misses a clothesline and Mark hits a sit-out clothesline for 2. Jay in, uppercuts and headbutts to Hanson. Mark in, big forearm off the ropes to Hanson, but Hanson backdrops Mark over the post outside. Rowe in, goes after Mark outside and Jay follows suit. Hanson with a head of steam and wipes out everyone with a tope suicida. Back in, Mark with a Urnangi Suplex to Rowe as Jay wipes out Hanson with a double stomp off the apron through a ringside table! Jay in, headbutt and a Hangman’s Neckbreaker to Rowe for 2. Hanson slowly starts to stir as Jay with another boot to Rowe, but it fires him up after every shot. More boots by Jay, but it continues to fire up Rowe. Jay catches the Superman Forearm with a Urnangi Suplex, but Rowe pops right up! Rowe with a Exploder, but now its Jay who pops right up! Both go for clotheslines, then Rowe with a big forearm. Hanson and Mark back in, Mark lands on his feet off a backdrop attempt, then avoids the Cartwheel Clothesline, but Hanson with a big clothesline and all 4 men are down.
“ROH” chants by the crowd as they all get to their feet and have a stand-off. They slug it out in the center, with War Machine getting the advantage. Standing Side Slam by Hanson on Mark, but Mark comes back with an enziguri. Jay peppers Rowe with jabs, but Rowe with another big forearm. Mark with a forearm, then Jay with a Cactus Clothesline sending both he and Rowe outside. Mark sends Hanson outside, then Jay with a head of steam and he wipes out Rowe with a tope suicida. Hanson goes after Jay, but Mark leaps off the apron and wipes out Hanson with a Blockbuster. Back in, Jay with a Lariat to Rowe for 2. Rowe blocks the Jay Driller, but Jay with another clothesline for a close 2. Jay goes for the Jay Driller again, Hanson comes in, but Jay with a superkick. Rowe knocks Jay down, then catches Mark off a springboard with a Superman Forearm. Big-time knee strike by Rowe to Jay for a close 2. War Machine go for Fallout on Jay, but Mark crotches Hanson. Backdrop Driver by Jay to Rowe, then Mark with the Iconoclasm to Hanson. Frog Splash by Jay to Hanson, then Froggy Bow by Mark, but Hanson kicks out! Briscoes can’t believe it! Jay heads up top with Hanson, but Hanson knocks him off. Mark goes up, but Hanson knocks him off. Scott Lost Stomp by Hanson to Jay, then the Path of Resistance to Mark by War Machine. Powerbomb by Rowe to Mark, then Hanson heads up top and goes for a Moonsault, but Jay moves. Jay Driller to Hanson, but Hanson KICKS OUT AT 2.99!! We see replay that shows that Hanson indeed kicked out at the last second. Briscoes go for the Doomsday Device on Hanson, but Rowe breaks it up. Pop-Up German Suplex to Mark by Rowe, as Jay fights back on War Machine. Rowe catches Jay and hits Death Rowe, then Hanson hits the Spin Kick of Doom!
Rowe catches Mark, the legal man coming in, and War Machine hit him with Fallout to retain the titles as Jay broke it up a second too late.

IWGP Champion Tetsuya Naito vs. Kyle O’Reilly
Good reaction for Naito in Chicago as he throws the IWGP Title belt down in the entranceway, then teases hitting referee Paul Turner as he gets into the ring. Naito refuses the Code of Honor, shaking the ref’s hand instead, before the bell.
Naito with a cheap shot to O’Reilly early. O’Reilly unloads with shots from the mount, going for a cross armbreaker, but Naito quickly gets to the ropes. Naito spits at O’Reilly, then sends him outside. Naito feigns a dive and instead, lays back nonchalantly in the ring. O’Reilly comes back with a cross armbreaker in the ropes. Naito takes control on O’Reilly, hitting a sliding dropkick while O’Reilly is in the Tree of Woe. Neckbreaker gets 2. O’Reilly fights back as Naito dares him to give him more. Naito with an Inverted Atomic Drop, then hits the Dropkick/Leg Sweep/Slingshot Dropkick combo in the corner. O’Reilly slips out of a back suplex and fights back, then hits his series of strikes, ending with the leg sweep. Series of chest kicks by O’Reilly, then he locks Naito in a choke, but Naito slips out. O’Reilly with a kick from underneath, then locks in a Front Guillotine Choke into a combination armbar/leglock submission, Naito gets to the ropes. Naito comes back with a Run-Up-The-Ropes Tornado DDT. Commentary notes that the Briscoes and War Machine have left the building to be checked out by medics. Naito with a Super Rana to O’Reilly for 2. O’Reilly blocks Gloria and hits a big knee to the head. O’Reilly avoids an enziguri and hits an Axe Kick, but Naito comes back with a Koppo Kick, but then O’Reilly falls back into the ropes and comes back off with the Nigel! Naito blocks a Regalplex as the crowd gives dueling chants for both men while they trade shots. Naito comes back with an enziguri, then a Flying Forearm. Naito goes for Destino, but O’Reilly counters it by this time hitting the Regalplex for a close 2. Naito slips out of a Brainbuster and this time hits Gloria for a close 2. Naito goes again for Destino, but O’Reilly counters with a GTS variation.
Naito comes back with a Spinebuster, then this time hits Destino for the win.
Winner: IWGP Champion Tetsuya Naito by pinfall (Destino)
Afterwards, Naito feigns adhering to the Code of Honor with O’Reilly, but instead, kicks him down low, then throws down the IWGP Title belt again and walks off without it.

Kazuchika Okada w/Gedo & MOOSE w/Stokely Hathaway vs. Michael Elgin & Hiroshi Tanahashi
BIG reactions for Tanahashi and Okada. MOOSE comes out with cheerleaders and his football attire. The cheerleaders then rain money down on Okada when he does the Rainmaker Pose on the rampway. Referee is New Japan’s Tiger Hattori.
Tanahashi and Okada start to a HUGE reaction by the Chicago crowd, giving them a standing ovation, as this is the first time they will face off on US soil. “Holy s**t” chants by the crowd. Okada with a shoulder tackle, then goes for the Rainmaker, Tanahashi goes for a Dragon, Okada blocks it. Armdrag by Tanahashi, headscissors by Okada, Tanahashi gets out, stalemate. “New Japan” chants by the crowd.
MOOSE and Elgin tag in. No one goes down off clothesline and shoulder tackle attempts by both. 30-second delayed suplex by Elgin, but MOOSE pops right up! MOOSE does his jab sequence, but Elgin blocks a big right hand. MOOSE blocks a German, but Elgin with a rolling forearm. Tanahashi in, then does his own sequence of shots to MOOSE, but MOOSE nails him with a shoulder tackle.
Okada in, Elgin stops a double suplex. Elgin and Tanahashi go for something, but Okada and MOOSE place them on parallel corners and hit Stereo Too Awesome Dropkicks, sending Elgin and Tanahashi crashing down outside. Back in, MOOSE with a Sky High out of the corner on Tanahashi, Elgin breaks up the pin. MOOSE and Okada continue to work over Tanahashi. MOOSE goes for the Hit Stick, but Tanahashi avoids it and tags in Elgin.
Elgin with a Top Rope Shoulder Tackle, then hits a series of leaping forearms. Western Lariat knocks Okada off the apron, then an enziguri to MOOSE on the apron. Elgin with a head of steam, but he catches Okada slingshotting back in with a powerslam. German to MOOSE by Elgin for 2. MOOSE counters the Buckle Bomb with a backdrop, then they clothesline each other. Elgin with shots to MOOSE, but MOOSE with a big boot, but Elgin with another Western Lariat.
Tanahashi and Okada get the tags. They trade shots, with Tanahashi getting the advantage. Tanahashi catches a big boot and hits a Dragon Screw. Tanahashi with a slam, then the 2nd Rope Senton Bomb for 2. Both men are down, Elgin tags in. Elgin with a Super Powerslam to Okada, then Tanahashi goes onto his shoulders. Inverted Alabama Slam/Splash combo by Tanahashi and Elgin on Okada, but MOOSE breaks up the pin. Tanahashi wipes out MOOSE with a Slingshot Plancha. Elgin with the Buckle Bomb to Okada, but Okada comes back with the Emerald Frosion across the knee. Elgin comes back with a rolling forearm to the back of Okada’s head, but Okada comes back with the Too Awesome Dropkick. Elgin avoids the Rainmaker, but MOOSE with the Hit Stick on Elgin! MOOSE nails Tanahashi with a dropkick.

Pre-match intros for this one. They go back and forth early with strikes until Fish hits a big head kick. Ishii comes back with a suplex. Fish eggs Ishii on to give him more shots as the crowd give dueling chants. Fish kicks out at 1 after a big Ishii chop. Ishii with some trash talk to Fish, then hits a corner clothesline for 2. Victim Kick by Ishii, then he kicks at Fish. Fish fights back, but Ishii paintbrushes him. Fish fights back again, but Ishii walks right through his shots. They fight up top, Fish blocks a superplex and knocks Ishii off. Ishii avoids a diving headbutt, but Fish comes back with a rana. Series of kicks by Fish for 2. Exploder by Fish for another 2. Running knee by Fish in the corner, followed by a clothesline, but it has no effect on Ishii, who drills Fish with a headbutt to the chest and jaw. They head back up top and Ishii this time hits Fish with the Delayed Superplex for 2. Fish avoids the Sliding Lariat, but Ishii hits him with a Backdrop Driver. Powerbomb by Ishii for 2. Ishii calls for the Vertical Drop Brainbuster, but Fish blocks it and hits a flying knee. Fish locks on a sleeper, but Ishii fights out. Ishii with a German, but Fish locks back on the sleeper in the ropes. They’re both on the apron as Fish kicks at Ishii, but it fires Ishii up. They trade shots, with Ishii hitting a chop to throat, but Fish kicks out his leg, sending Ishii crashing onto the apron and down outside. Ref is close to reaching his 20 count, but Ishii rushes back in at 16, then Fish just barely back in before the count of 20. They trade shots again, with Ishii hitting another headbutt. Fish with a spinning back kick, but Ishii turns him inside out with a Lariat for a close 2. Ishii calls again for the Vertical Drop Brainbuster, but Fish slips out and locks back in the Sleeper. Ishii begins to fade, but fires back up and gets free. Fish with a series of 12-6 elbows and goes back to the Sleeper. Ishii tries to roll out, but Fish keeps the hold applied and has the body scissored.
Ishii passes out and Fish wins the title!

Big reaction for the Bucks in Chicago. We see that Mr. Wrestling 3 has created a Superkick Counter graphic to be shown on screen for this match to track all the superkicks.
Matt and Sydal start. Chain wrestling early, then Matt with the “Too Sweet” eye poke. Matt with crotch chops, but Sydal throws up the “Peace” sign. Sydal sent outside, but he draws Matt into an apron PK by Sabin. KUSHIDA and Shelley knock down Guerrillas of Destiny outside, then they open up the gates for Sabin and Sydal to wipe them out with stereo tope suicidas. Back in, Machineguns and KUSHIDA with a series of dropkicks to Matt. Shelley with a Macho Man axehandle off the top to Matt. Assisted dropkick by the Bucks to Shelley and Sabin, then the backbreaker/neckbreaker/gutbuster combo to KUSHIDA. Bucks go for the Terminator stereo dives, but Sabin and Sydal nail them with stereo superkicks, although Wrestling 3 says they were thrust kicks. Guerillas of Destiny send the babyfaces outside, then Nick wipes them out with a corkscrew plancha. Nick asks if the crowd wants a Superkick Party, but Shelley stops a superkick, but Nick nails him with a head kick.
Tonga in, goes to work on Shelley. Stinger Splash, followed by a snap suplex for 2. Loa in, Samoan/Neckbreaker combo by the Guerrillas for 2. Loa knocks the babyfaces off the apron, then hits Shelley with a Running Powerslam for 2. Shelley fights back, but it has no effect on Loa, who drills Shelley with a headbutt. Tonga in, Michinoku Driver by Loa, flying headbutt by Tonga for 2. Matt in, stomps away on Shelley, then he draws the ire of Sabin. Leaping stomp by Matt for 2. Shelley fights back, then Matt accidentally nails the Guerrilas with a Through-the-Ropes-Dropkick. Shelley catches The Bucks off the ropes and hits a Flatliner/DDT combo.
KUSHIDA in, Double Koppo Kick knock off the Guerrillas from the apron. KUSHIDA then with a German/O’Connor Roll combo to the Bucks for 2. KUSHIDA goes for the Hoverboard Lock on Matt, then slips out of the IndyTaker. Sydal in, leaping kicks to Matt. Tonga in, Meteora by Sydal to Tonga. Tonga then counters the Sunset Split, but Sydal with a head kick and a Standing Moonsault, Loa breaks up the pin. Sabin stops a Guerrillas double team, more “thrust kicks” by Sabin and Sydal. Double rana by Sydal to the Bucks. Babyfaces trade off shots to Matt in the corner, then Sabin and Sydal hit a Powebomb/Meteora combo, Guerrillas breaks up the pin. Sandwich strikes by Shelley and KUSHIDA in the corner, then KUSHIDA wipes out the Guerrillas with a Somersault Plancha. Skull and Crossbones by the Guns to Matt for 2. Nick with strikes to the Guns, but Shelley with more “thrust kicks”. Nick comes back with a Windmill Kick to Shelley.

Bullet Club celebrate their win after as we see that the Bucks threw no superkicks in the match, to which Mr. Wrestling 3 is upset. Also, no new Bullet Club member is revealed either.
BJ Whitmer comes out and rags on Mr. Wrestling 3 for being Steve Corino in disguise. Whitmer says he has a flash drive that “Steve” would want to see after the show and may wanna re-think his decision. Whitmer throws the flash drive down and storms off.

Cabana comes out to a BIG hometown reaction, with his ring jacket paying homage to his best friend, CM Punk. Pre-match intros for this one. LOUD chants for Cabana as the bell sounds.
Cabana unloads on Lethal early, surprising him with a headscissors. “New World Champ” chants by the crowd. Series of evasions, then Lethal hits the hiptoss/cartwheel/dropkick combo. They criss-cross back in and Cabana with a pin attempt on Lethal for 2. Another unique pin attempt by Cabana for 2. Cabana sidesteps the Lethal Triangle Dropkick, but Hendrix distracts Cabana. Lethal goes for a tope suicida, but Cabana again sidesteps him, sending Lethal crashing into the barricade! Back in, Cabana leaps off the top, but Lethal nails him. Cabana counters the Lethal Injection with an O’Connor Roll for 2. Cabana blocks a Hendrix slap, but that allows Lethal to hit two tope suicidas, with the second one sending Lethal into the crowd.
Nigel leaves commentary and has the ref eject Hendrix from ringside. Hendrix doesn’t want to leave, so Nigel grabs her by the arm and forces her to the back. Lethal sends Cabana into the barricade multiple times, then gets back in as the ref begins his 20 count. Cabana gets back in by the count of 18. Lethal takes control. Back suplex by Lethal for 2. Crowd wills on Cabana. Cabana fights back with headbutts, then stops the Lethal Injection again with a Jackknife Pin for 2. They trade shots, then Cabana blocks a superkick and turns Lethal inside out with a clothesline.
Cabana peppers Lethal with jabs and a series of Bionic Elbows. Cabana hits the Flying Apple in the corner, then sees Lethal moving when he leaps off the ropes and hit a Standing Splash for 2. Lethal comes back with an enziguri, but Cabana comes back with the Butt-Butt for 2. Another Bionic Elbow by Cabana, but then Lethal hits the Lethal Combination. Lethal heads up top and hits Hail to the King for a close 2. Lethal with a forearm in the corner, then they head up top. Cabana blocks a superplex twice, but Lethal catches him with another enziguri. Lethal heads back up top, but Cabana grabs him and hits Lethal with Chicago Skyline for a close 2. Running Alligator Clutch for another close 2. They trade Tombstone attempts until Lethal with a Snap Tombstone for 2. Cabana stops the Lethal Injection again, then locks Lethal in the Billy’s Goat Curse! Lethal thinks about tapping, but Hendrix runs back out and pulls the referee from the ring! The Young Bucks run out and accidentally hit the ref with a superkick, then wipe out Hendrix with a double superkick! The Bucks have 2 Bullet Club t-shirts and hand it to both Lethal and Cabana. The lights go out and when they come back on, Adam Cole is in the ring with a Bullet Club shirt on! Cole yells out “ADAM COLE BAYBAY!” and the Bucks lay out both Lethal and Cabana with superkicks!

Cole says that they are the Bullet Club and this is our house, bitches! Security rushes in, but the Bucks & Cole lay them all out with superkicks! Bucks lay out Lethal with more superkicks as Matt asks for the superkick counter to be shown. More superkicks by the Bucks and Cole to Lethal, Cabana and all of the security. Guerrillas of Destiny come back out as the Bucks lay out another security guy with the IndyTaker on the floor! Bucks set up a table outside as Cole continues to nail people with superkicks! Bullet Club zip-ties Lethal to the ropes as Cole continues to pepper Lethal with superkicks. Cole does a victory lap with the ROH Title belt and hits more superkicks to Lethal. Bucks then hit repeated superkicks to Cabana outside. The Bucks’ father hits the ring and tries to reason with his sons, but they & Cole lay out their father with a triple superkick! Bucks & Cole then lay out the cameraman with a triple superkick! We see that the Superkick counter is at 51 as the Bucks & Cole say to the fallen camera that this is their world now and no one can touch them as the show goes off the air.
