5.11 NXT Report

Finn Balor comes out to a great reaction, and says his match with Samoa Joe could have gone either way. The Drifter comes out and sings a song to a lot of boos. Finn hits him and throws the guitar, which Samson catches.
American Alpha vs. Corey Hollis & John SkylerGable absolutely dominates Skyler on the ground before Hollis is welcomed by a drop toe hold and a standing armbar. Jordan is tagged in and dropkicks Skyler before slamming Hollis. Gable and Jordan pretty much run the table until Gable has his hair pulled by Hollis, allowing he and Skyler to work over Gable in their corner. Jordan gets the hot tag and suplexes everyone into oblivion. The spear in the corner hits after Dash and Dawson come out to try and distract. Grand Amplitude gets the win.Winners: American Alpha via pinfall (Grand Amplitude)The Revival back off and say it's not time to fight yet.

Shinsuke Nakamura is briefly interviewed and mock's Alex Riley's 'raging.'
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Alex RileyRiley powers Nakamura into the corner, but is tossed out of the ring. Nakamura catches Riley with a knee, but misses a knee drop. Riley capitalizes with a big dropkick and paintbrushes Nakamura's head. Riley disrespects Nakamura only to get the living hell beaten out of him. Nakamura hits a corner knee, inverted Exploder and Kinsasha for the win.Winner: Shinsuka Nakamura (Kinsasha)

- Austin Aries is backstage talking to William Regal when Blake & Murphy barge in asking for a tag title match. Aries said they should have the decency to bring Alexa Bliss with them. Regal says next week Blake and Murphy will face Austin Aries and a partner of his choosing.
Alexa Bliss vs. Rachael ElleringBliss and Ellering trade pin attempts until Bliss clocks her. Bliss works Ellering over, but the daughter of 'Precious Paul' dropkicks Bliss. Alexa grabs Ellering by the throat and lands an STO before the Sparkle Splash for the pin.Winner: Alexa Bliss via pinfall (Sparkle Splash)' - Bayley is backstage and Nia Jax interrupts her and says she became a loser. Bayley says that wasn't the case when she beat Nia Jax. Jax challenges Bayley to a rematch, who accepts. It's confirmed for next week.  Finn Balor vs. Elias SamsonSamson clocks Balor with an elbow and a snap suplex that gets a two count early on. Balor fights back with chops in the corners and a clothesline over the ropes, then drops Samson with a suicide dropkick and a punt to the jaw. Balor gets the Slingblade and 1916 for the win.Winner: Finn Balor via pinfall (1916) Balor says that he lost fair and square to Samoa Joe, but he wants his re-match. He says he's now possessed like a demon to get back his NXT Championship. Samoa Joe comes out and William Regal announces that Balor vs. Joe will happen at the next NXT Takeover on June 8. Balor celebrates by flipping outside onto Joe and grabbing his title belt.
