Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling (GFW) has sixteen hours of episodic TV ready to go whenever they sign TV deals. They are represented by Boulder Creek International for TV distribution. They were represented at MIPCOM and SPORTEL last month, with Boulder Creek set to present GFW at a TV broadcasters convention in Singapore this week.
– PJ Black dropped the NexGen title over the weekend in North Carolina. Black signed with Lucha Underground, which meant he had to drop it to Sonjay Dutt.
– There will be announcements about live events next week domestically and internationally. The promotion held live events in the UK recently.
– Jeff Jarrett will be in attendance in Nashville at the MLB and MILB winter meetings. He was invited to attend. He will talk with different teams about bringing the GFW Grand Slam tour to their stadiums. GFW held similar events over the summer and fall of this year.
– GFW is in final talks with a “major Hollywood player” that began after the first set of tapings in Las Vegas. It’s not a cable network.
Opinionated View- You know I hate the term "Major Player" because its almost never someone major.... Dear god not Johnny Fairplay... I'm still stunned the filmed anything before having a TV deal. Losing Black is a bad loss as he was one of the better talents they had.
I've gone back and forth on GFW. On the one hand I am a wrestling fan so more wrestling but I am having a hard time get into a company with so much time now and so little having happened. Than the TNA feud got me excited but now it feels like that has been wasted by GFW. Because now it will be months since they appeared on TNA TV.
