PWInsider reports that both Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis are finished with Ring of Honor as of yesterday’s TV taping session. The two were unable to come to terms on a new deal with ROH and are done there, and likely in NJPW as a result.
The site reports that the duo’s departure was expected internally at ROH for a while, although Bennett’s tag team partner Matt Taven is still signed with the company through either March or April.
Bennett and Maria were telling people on their way out that they are set to start with TNA in January.
Opinionated View Taven was hurt on Friday and didn't work on Saturday so depending on the injury he could be done now. You gotta be careful with stories along the lines of "Telling people backstage." Because you don't know what is BS what is being misquoted. Again I like Bennett and would love to see Taven and Cole come with him. But I believe Cole is back under contract.
