12/7 WWE Raw Report

The League of Nations is already in the ring as RAW comes on the air. Sheamus takes a moment to introduce to introduce the nations in the League of Nations. After a U.S.A. chant breaks out, Sheamus lets us know that he tried to recruit a superstar from America, but no one was good enough to join them. Sheamus says they are the best of the best of the best. The lights go out and the Wyatt Family appears in the ring.

Bray says that he has not been properly introduced. Bray says this is his world and he is just allowing them to live in it. The Wyatts and the League are about to square off, but the Dudely’s and Tommy Dreamer appear. Bubba tells Bray that they are not outmanned anymore and out comes Rhyno! As the ECW Originals make their way to the ring, Reigns music hits. Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and the Usos start to make their way to the ring via the crowd.

Team Roman vs Team Extreme vs The Wyatt Family vs The League of Nations

–When a member of a team is pinned, the whole team is eliminated

The League beats down Dean Ambrose before Dean manages to tag in Jey Uso. Rusev and D-Von battle on the other side of the ring. Bray tags in and levels Jey with a clothesline. Rhyno tags in and levels Bray with the clothesline. Rhyno hits Jey with a belly-to-belly suplex. Tommy Dreamer tags in and almost sticks Rusev with a piledriver, but Jimmy Uso kicks him in the face. The Uso set Rusev on the top rope for a double suplex. Brawn Strowman enters the ring and suplexes everyone off the top rope while taking out Dreamer as well! Eric Rowen tags in and misses a spin kick, which Dreamer turns into the DDT for the pin fall.

 

The Wyatt Family has been eliminated.

 

After a break Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio is working over Dreamer. Jey Uso rolls into the ring, but Del Rio kicks him in the head. Bubba tags in and hits Sheamus with a uranage suplex. All hell breaks loose and everyone jumps in the ring. Reigns and Rhyno are left in the ring. They are about to face off, but Sheamus and Rusev break up the moment. The Dudleys hit the 3D on Rusev, but Sheamus brogue kicks Bubba for the pin fall.

Team Extreme has been eliminated.

Ambrose assaults Rusev, hitting multiple strikes, a cross body and a running bulldog for a two count. After another break, Sheamus is beating down Jey. Reigns pulls Sheamus off of Jey. The ref makes Reigns leave as Del Rio tags in. Del Rio almost kicks Jey’s head off his shoulders for a two count. Rusev tags in and puts Jey in a bear hug. Jey boxes Rusev’s ears to break the hold. King Barrett tags in and misses a diving knee in the corner. Jey tags in Reigns as Barrett tags in Del Rio. Reigns hits a powerbomb on Del Rio. Reigns calls for the Superman punch, but Barrett blocks his way. Reigns hits the Superman punch on Barrett, then the drive by on Sheamus.

Reigns tries to get in the ring, but Sheamus grabs his foot, which allows Del Rio to kick Reigns in the head. Del Rio slaps on the cross arm breaker, but Jimmy dives off the top and splashes Del Rio. Sheamus get in the ring and calls for the brogue kick. Sheamus runs right into a spear and that is all she wrote.

The League of Nations has been eliminated.

Winners- Team Reigns

 

Renee Young approaches Sheamus backstage. Renee asks if Sheamus thinks what just happened could possibly happen at TLC. Sheamus says he doesn’t believe in miracles. Renee asks if Sheamus thinks there is a lesson to be learned from what happened tonight. Sheamus says there is a lesson that is going to be learned… and he is going to teach it to Reigns in the ring tonight.

Backstage for the third week in a row Titus O’Neil interrupts Stardust ranting about the things Stardust likes to rant about.

Kevin Owens vs Dolph Ziggler

Before Owens can come out to the ring, Tyler Breeze and Summer Rae come out and take a seat in the VIP section.

Owens and Ziggler trade holds before the match deteriorates into a shoving match. Owens goes out to the apron to catch his breath. Owens and Ziggler lock up and Ziggler sends Owens into the rope, but Owens ducks his should and sends Ziggler tumbling to the mat. Owens locks on a rear chin lock, but Ziggler reverses it into a hammerlock. Owens pushes Ziggler into the corner and lands a few knife-edge chops.

Ziggler almost hits his leaping DDT, but Owens tosses him off. Ziggler kicks Owens in the gut, and then drop kicks him in the face. Owens rolls to the outside and Ziggler follows. Ziggler jumps on Owens, but Owens fall away slams him into the barricade. Owens rolls Ziggler back in the ring for a pin, but Ziggler kicks out at two. Owens and Ziggler trade punches. Ziggler hits the ropes, but runs right into a back elbow by Owens.

 

Owens misses a running senton. Ziggler punches Owens a few times, but he misses his corner splash attempt. Owens grabs Ziggler and almost throws Ziggler through the ring post. Ziggler is almost counted out. As soon as Ziggler gets in the ring Owens finally hits the running senton for a long two count.

After a short break Ziggler moves as Owens charges into the turnbuckle. Ziggler hits a huge clothesline, followed by a leaping elbow drop. Ziggler goes for his leaping DDT once again, but Owens catches him and tosses him over the top rope. Owens goes outside and gets distracted long enough for Ziggler to finally hit his leaping DDT. Ziggler rolls Owens back in the ring and pins him, but Owens kicks out at 2.5. Ziggler goes for a famasser, but Owens reverses it into a German suplex.

Owens misses the cannonball in the corner and Ziggler hits the famasser for another two count. Ziggler misses the zig zag, Owens hits a superkick, Ziggler falls into the ropes and superkicks Owens. Owens still manages to kick out. Ziggler hits the ropes and runs right into a pop up power bomb for the win.

Winner- Kevin Owens

After the match Dean Ambrose comes out to the ring eating popcorn and drinking a soda. Owens gets in Ambrose’s face. Ambrose tosses the popcorn and the soda in Owen’s face and walks away. Owens is livid.

 

Miz is trying to convince Neville to let him help become the hottest thing in WWE.

Team B.A.D. vs Brie Bella and Alicia Fox

Fox hits a tilt-a-whirl back breaker on Sasha. Naomi tags in and gets tilt-a-whirl back breaker’d as well. As Sasha and Naomi are on the outside of the ring, Brie and Fox take them both out with baseball slides. As Fox gets in the ring, Tamina gets on the apron and pulls her down by her hair. Sasha and Naomi work over Fox. Fox tags in Brie after miscommunication by Team B.A.D.

Brie hits the Daniel Bryan kick combo and the Brie Mode knee smash. Tamina distracts the ref long enough for Naomi to hit the rear view for the win.

Winners- Team B.A.D.

After the match, The New Day comes to the ring and gives Team B.A.D. New Day unicorn horns. Both teams celebrate in the ring.

The Lucha Dragons vs The New Day

Kingston and Sin Cara jockey for position in the ring. Kingston whips Sin Cara into the ropes but instead of bouncing off Sin Cara dives through onto Big E. Big E. catches him and belly-to-belly suplexes him on the floor.

After the commercial, Kalisto hits his springboard spinning smash on Kingston. Kalisto ends up on the outside of the ring, but Big E. drives him into the barricade back first. Big E. rolls Kalisto back in the ring. The New Day takes turns stomping Kalisto in the corner. Kalisto tags in Sin Cara who hits a few springboard moonsault. On the outside of the ring the Usos attack Xavier Woods. Kingston gets distracted long enough for Sin Cara to roll up Kingston for the win.

Winners- The Lucha Dragons

Backstage, Reigns says he could teach Sheamus a whole lot. The most important lesson he will teach Sheamus is how it feels to be a former WWE champion.

The Miz is in the ring for Miz TV. He welcomes Charlotte and Ric Flair to the show. Flair says he is proud of his daughter. Miz says that some people say Charlotte is selfish and egotistical. Charlotte says that the only reason Miz is saying that is because Charlotte isn’t a man. Charlotte says she will do her talking on Sunday. Flair gets up and tells Miz he isn’t going to use Charlotte to bump his ratings. Charlotte says she is going to destroy Paige on Sunday and that she wishes Paige were there right now. Miz tells Charlotte that Paige is there. Paige comes out to the ring. Flair tells Charlotte this is just a ploy and to leave. Paige slaps Flair and he tells Charlotte to get her! They tussle in the ring for a bit before Paige gets away.

 

Ryback vs. Rusev

Rusev and Ryback lock up, but Ryback sends Rusev flying across the ring. Rusev rolls to the outside. Ryback dives over the top rope for what looked to be a sloppy corkscrew splash. Ryback slides Rusev back in the ring and hits a vertical suplex. Rusev tosses Ryback over the top rope.

After the break, Ryback tried to press slam Rusev, but his arm is too injured to get a full press. Rusev slides off and drives Ryback into the corner. Rusev works over Ryback’s injured arm. Rusev attempts a shoulder block, but Ryback grabs him and suplexes him. Ryback fires up, hits a clothesline and a flying shoulder block. Middle rope drop kick by Ryback for a two count. Rusev rolls to the outside of the ring. Ryback follows. Rusev decides to run away (yes, you read that right). Ryback runs into Lana and she feigns a leg injury. Ryback checks on her, which allows Rusev to hit him from behind. Rusev slaps on the accolade as they are both counted out.

Winner- No contest

Jack Swagger vs Stardust

The match is in progress as they return from break. Swagger has Stardust in the patriot lock. Alberto Del Rio and Zeb Colter come to the ring. Stardust takes advantage of the distraction. Stomping Swagger in the corner. Swagger almost hits the Swagger bomb, but Stardust gets his foot up. Stardust ends up getting suplexed. Stardust misses the disaster kick and gets put in the patriot lock. Stardust taps out.

Winner- Jack Swagger

After the match, Swagger and Del Rio battle with steel chairs. Del Rio runs away.

 

Backstage, Del Rio is yelling at Colter. Del Rio tells Colter that he doesn’t need him. Colter rolls away on his scooter.
Tommy Dreamer vs Brawn Strowman

Dreamer tries to fire up, but Strowman keeps beating him down. Dreamer hits the ropes but gets leveled with a shoulder block by Strowman. Strowman tosses Dreamer around the ring and locks in a nerve hold. Dreamer tries to DDT Dreamer, but Strowman picks Dreamer up and locks in the hug of death for the win.
Winner- Brawn Strowman
Reigns gets in the ring and grabs a mic. He ask if Sheamus is supposed to teach him a lesson, why isn’t Sheamus in the ring. Reigns goes on to talk about his journey to the WWE title. Sheamus comes out on the ramp. Sheamus tells Reigns that TLC is going to end the same way Survivor Series ended: with Sheamus standing tall with the WWE title. Reigns tries to goad Sheamus into getting in the ring to fight. Sheamus says he won’t get in the ring while all of the TLC weapons are in the ring. Reigns removes each of them.
Reigns takes the ladder and tosses it directly at Sheamus. Sheamus barley dodges it. Sheamus finally gets in the ring and attacks Reigns. They roll to the outside. Sheamus and Reigns take turns tossing each other into the barricade. Sheamus clotheslines Reigns over the barricade and they fight in the crowd, and then back to the ring. Reigns tries to spear Sheamus, but Sheamus moves and sends Reigns careening over the announce table. Sheamus celebrates, but as soon as he turns around Reigns dives off the announce table and spears Sheamus through a table to close the show.
