We open with a look back on Monday Night RAW and Sheamus's title celebration, in which Sheamus gloats that "Sheamus 5:15 says I just kicked your arse!" The celebration is cut short by Roman Reigns, who runs off with the WWE title before being confronted by The Authority, who announce Roman Reigns gets a title match that night…but he MUST win in 5:15 or less! We see the match itself, which ends with Rusev attacking Roman, which leads to a DQ win for the number one contender. After the match Sheamus introduces us to the League of Nations, consisting of himself, Rusev, Wade Barrett, and…Alberto Del Rio!? We then go to the main event from RAW, in which the League of Nations are joined by the New Day in a 7-on-4 handicap match against Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and The Usos. The match breaks down into chaos before Sheamus delivers the Brogue Kick on Ambrose for the win! Roman comes to the aid of Ambrose, but is beaten down by the League and the New Day.
With this, we go to the arena for a new edition of "Thursday Night SmackDown" as Reigns, Ambrose, and The Usos are in the ring. Reigns has the mic in hand, and he has a question: lemme hear ya if you're here with your family tonight! Me, too! The Usos are the closest cousins Roman's ever had, and they're like brothers. It's the holiday season, which brings me to my boy Dean Ambrose. With all the memories we've had over five years, they could fill up 30; we've had a lot of great fights together, even fought each other, and that's why you're MY brother. A "hug it out" chant comes from the crowd, and the two men oblige. This brings me to my point; at Survivor Series, Sheamus cashed in his MITB title shot and took away my title. If he was smart, he could've left this between he and I, but he brought in The Authority and this Monday night he brought in the League of Nations. The League can't help him on Sunday, because we go one on one in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match, which means I just need to Superman Punch him, spear, and climb the ladder to take what's rightfully mine: the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! But that feels so far away…I feel like doing it tonight! So Sheamus, round up your League of Nations and get out here right now! After a moment, Sheamus and the League of Nations walk out on stage. The WWE Champion has a mic in hand as he speaks: I have to admit I really enjoyed listening to you talk about your family, it was so positive, so full of joy! A "YOU LOOK STUPID" chant breaks out from the crowd, prompting Sheamus to respond: how can you look stupid when you're the WWE Champion! I'm a big admirer of yours, I really am…as the crowd chants "USA! USA!" Sheamus responds "It's okay, we've all got our green cards, we're legally allowed to work here." Anyway, Roman, you have nothing to worry about. At Survivor Series, you won the WWE World Heavyweight Champion! Sure, it was only for five minutes and fifteen seconds, but who's judging? Besides, I got a cool t-shirt out of it! Roman cuts him off, saying no one came here to listen to Sheamus crack jokes. They came to see US crack heads! So shut your mouth, come down to the ring, and you can try to fight. Sheamus says Roman is so tense, so aggressive, but if Roman won't accept the olive branch, I've had a chat to make a match tonight between the League of Nations…including my amigo, the United States Champion, Alberto Del Rio; the Bulgarian Brute, Rusev; and the only true royalty in the world, the King of the Ring, King Barrett! They've put the League against the Usos, the Lunatic Fringe Dean Ambrose, and yourself Roman Reigns, and they've pitched that match for…tonight! Suddenly, the New Day's music hits as they come out to the stage, prompting the crowd to chant "New Day Sucks!" Xavier asks, why so serious? Let's face facts, Roman; it took us longer to hold a championship celebration for Sheamus than for you to lose the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! And even though you have the information, you don't have to go around being a ruiner, but that's exactly what you've become: Roman the Ruiner! The Usos call out the New Day, but they insist they still have things to say. Officials have asked us to pass along word that Dean Ambrose and The Usos have to EARN the right to be Roman's tag partners for tonight. You have to each defeat your opponents…and they happen to be the WWE World Tag Team Champions, the NEW DAY! If you can't beat us, then Roman will have to face the entire League of Nations all by him, and then it will truly be…ONE VERSUS ALL! The New Day have a great laugh about this, but Roman and crew look none too pleased. Backstage we see Tyler Breeze and Summer Rae, as Breeze is set for action next!

Back from commercial, Tyler Breeze makes his way to the ring as we see Dolph Ziggler at ringside joining commentary. We get an inset promo from Breeze, promising to take his frustrations out on Neville tonight on SmackDown. Neville makes his way to the ring now, and tonight's opening contest is underway!
Tyler Breeze vs. Neville
Both men lock up and Breeze takes down Neville, before posing in the corner. They lock up again, exchanging holds, and Neville takes down Breeze before mocking Breeze with his own pose in the corner. Neville rolls up Prince Pretty for a nearfall, before going back to work with an armbar that brings Breeze to the mat. Breeze gets up, but Neville brings him right back down. Breeze finally breaks out with a right hand, but gets knocked out of the ring by the Man That Gravity Forgot. Neville looks to dive to the outside, but Summer Rae gets in the way causing Neville to stop himself. He tells Summer to get out of the way as we go to commercial.
-Commercial-
Back from commercial, Breeze is now in control with a front facelock until Neville powers out of it, slamming Breeze onto the mat with a surprising show of strength. Breeze gets up, and is met with a couple kicks to the gut by Neville, who throws Breeze outside before hitting a big dive on the Gorgeous One! Neville brings Breeze back into the ring, hitting a running shooting star press for a nearfall! Breeze stops Neville charging at him, but Neville avoids a dropkick before running to the ropes…and getting a superkick to the face on the rebound as Breeze goes for the cover and the very close nearfall! Breeze puts Neville in the corner and lays into him with some stomps before Neville catches him with a kick to the face! Neville climbs to the top for the Red Arrow, but Breeze rolls out of the ring. Neville brings him back in, but is distracted by Summer Rae just long enough for Breeze to catch him with a kick followed by the Unprettier for the pin!
Winner via pinfall: Tyler Breeze
Breeze and Summer celebrate in the ring as we get a replay of the finish. Commentary talk about the match between Charlotte and Becky Lynch on RAW, where it looked like Charlotte wanted to take a shortcut to win the match. Backstage, JoJo is with Becky Lynch. Addressing the situation, Becky Lynch says Charlotte is still her best friend, and sometimes best friends don't see eye to eye. But, it's important to just move on. Alicia Fox and Brie Bella show up to taunt Becky, as Alicia suggests the problem isn't Paige or Charlotte, but her…Charlotte shows up to stop the situation from escalating, but Brie says it's lonely at the top. Team Bella walk away, leaving Charlotte and Becky to agree that everything's cool before we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, Brie is already in the ring as Becky makes her way down!
Divas Match
Brie Bella vs. Becky Lynch
Both women lock up, but Becky gets an early advantage until Brie mocks Charlotte's "ankle injury" from Monday night. Brie is in control, hitting Becky with a Bulldog for a nearfall as we cut to the back, where Team BAD is playing around with a pinnate (because reasons). We go back to the ring, where Brie hits some hard kicks and a running knee for another nearfall. Brie goes to work on Becky with a chinlock, until Becky powers out of it and knocks Brie down with some right hands and a dropkick to the corner, where she hits an exploder suplex for a nearfall. Becky grabs an armbar, locking it in until Brie reaches for the rope to force a break. As Becky lets go, Brie knocks Charlotte off the apron before being locked into the Disarm-Her by Becky! Suddenly, Charlotte runs into the ring, pulling Becky off Brie to attack her for earlier as the ref calls for the bell!
Winner via disqualification: Brie Bella
Charlotte and Becky are arguing in the ring as we see a replay of what happened leading to the finish. Commentary talk about Dean Ambrose and The Usos facing the New Day later tonight as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, Neville is backstage when we see The Miz staring at him. Miz talks about Neville's unique look and unlimited potential in the ring, but his personality is "eh." That's not just me talking, that's on social media. You just need someone to learn from, someone with charisma and presence, someone with personality…someone like the star of Santa's Little Helper. Neville wants to know why Miz is suddenly invested in him, to which Miz responds by referring to Daniel Bryan. I took him under my wing and he ended up main eventing Wrestlemania, just like I did, just like you could. All you need to do is let the audience in, be relatable…be awesome. Here's my card…and a little something extra (as he hands Neville a copy of Santa's Little Helper). Miz walks off, leaving us with an annoyed Neville as we go to Renee Young standing by with Rusev and Lana. We go back to Monday Night RAW, where we see the tail end of Miz TV before Rusev's match with Ryback, who inadvertently hurt Lana in the course of the match after Rusev's momentum into the steel steps crashed them into her. Rusev takes the count out loss to tend to his woman, as we come back to the here and now. Lana accuses Ryback of doing that on purpose, and says he doesn't know what to do with a beautiful woman unlike Rusev. Rusev promises that next time he sees Ryback, he's going to crush him! Lana gives a response in Russian, and they kiss before walking off. Meanwhile, at ringside…"DON'T YOU DARE BE SOUR! CLAP FOR YOUR WORLD FAMOUS TAG TEAM CHAMPS, AND FEEL THE POWAH!" The New Day make their way to the ring as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial, The Usos make their way to the ring as commentary put over the Tag Title Triple Threat Ladder Match at TLC before Dean Ambrose makes his way to the ring next. Commentary then talk about the Intercontinental Championship match as Ambrose takes on Kevin Owens.

Kofi climbs up high, hitting a clothesline for another nearfall before tagging in Xavier. Woods gets a hard kick in for a nearfall, tagging in Big E who kicks Dean right in the gut before mocking the Usos in the corner. Dean starts fighting back, but is knocked down for a nearfall by Big E. E taunts Dean and knocks one of the Usos off the apron, but Dean catches him off guard and throws him out of the ring before E tags in Kofi upon returning. Kofi whips Dean, who does the whirlybird lariat on Kofi before tagging in Uso as Kofi tags in Xavier. Uso kicks Woods hard before hitting the belly to back suplex. Kofi gets involved, but the other Uso stops him dead in his tracks. Both Usos land a backside to the heads of Kofi and Xavier, as Uso hits a Samoan Drop on Xavier for a nearfall before Big E breaks it up. The match quickly becomes chaos, but Jimmy and Xavier are in the ring as Jimmy knocks down Xavier. He climbs up top, but Kofi catches him with a kick to the injured knee. Jimmy is still on the apron as Xavier distracts the ref, allowing Kofi to land a Trouble in Paradise on the knee and tangling Jimmy's leg on the ropes in the process! Jimmy gets out, but eats a big kick to the face as Xavier picks up the win for New Day!
Winners via pinfall: The New Day

Eventually, Strowman locks in Bubba knocking him out cold. Rowan picks up Dreamer, driving him through the table in the corner! Luke taunts Tommy in the corner, saying "Welcome home!" as the Family bring the Boyz and Dreamer to the middle of the ring, posing over the ring as Bray yells "FOLLOW THE BUZZARDS!"
