10/12 WWE Raw Report

Raw kicks off with Kane backstage on the phone with The Authority. Seems they are having travel issues and will not be there until much later in the show. Kane promises to be an absolute professional until they arrive. Kane calls the production assistant over and tells her to go tell Seth Rollins that he has a lumberjack match tonight… Against Kane.
Dean Ambrose makes his way down the ramp. Ambrose welcomes the crowd to Monday Night Raw. Ambrose says he is more of an action speaks louder than words kinda guy and right now he is looking for a fight. Randy Orton’s music hits and Orton looks like he has something to say. Orton says that he heard that Ambrose is going to be in the fight of his life against Luke Harper and Braun Strowman at Hell and a Cell. Orton announces that he will be Ambrose’s partner. Orton and Ambrose trade jabs about who should lead the team. Ambrose says he has never trusted Orton. Orton says he can’t blame him because most of the time he can’t trust himself.
The New Day interrupts and brags about taking out John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, and the Dudley Boyz. Xavier tells Ambrose that if his memory serves, The S.H.I.E.L.D . never accomplished that. He turns to Orton that The Authority never did that, neither did Legacy, or Evolution. Kane appears on the ‘tron and turns this into a tag team match.


Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton vs The New Day
Ambrose and Kingston start the match. Ambrose sends Kingston to the outside and almost takes him out via an outside dive, but Kingston moves out of the way. Thankfully Ambrose catches himself on the ropes before flying to the outside.

After a short break Orton is working over Kingston. Kingston tags in Big E. but Big E. eats a basement clothesline. Orton tags in and nearly decapitates Big E. with a drop kick. Orton floors Big E. with a clothesline before tagging in Ambrose. Ambrose goes to the top rope for a missile dropkick that connects with authority. Orton ‘Garvin’ stomp on Big E. Ambrose tags in and stomps on Big E. Orton tags himself in and they both stomp on Big E. Orton and Ambrose argue as Big E. crawls to tag in Kingston. Kingston charges but eats an elbow from both Ambrose and Orton. They then both toss Kingston over the top rope.
When we return from another break The New Day is taking turns stomping Orton in the corner. Big E. slaps on an abdominal stretch on Orton. Orton counters it into a few head-butts before eating a elbow from Big E. Big E. tries to spear Orton through the ropes but Orton wisely moves out of the way. Ambrose tags in and hits a running bulldog on Big E. Ambrose takes out each member of New Day. Ambrose dumps Kingston over the top rope and splashes Kingston and Big E. at the same time. Ambrose goes up top and hits the standing elbow drop. Woods distracts Ambrose and he walks into a belly to belly. Orton hits his elevated DDT on Kingston. Orton calls for the RKO, but Big E shoves Orton into Ambrose, which allowed Kingston to roll up Orton for the win.

Nikki Bella vs Naomi
Nikki takes control early. Nikki celebrates after hitting a snap suplex on Naomi. Nikki locks in a rear chin lock, but Naomi reverses it into a slam. Naomi misses a leg drop, which leads to Nikki being back in control. Naomi responds with a flurry of kicks and a stiff drop kick. Nikki ends up on the outside, Naomi takes out Nikki and Brie with an outside dive.
Brie gets on the announce table and grabs a mic to chant we want Sasha for some reason. Sasha pulls Brie off the announce table. Naomi is distracted long enough for Nikki to hit the rack attack for the win.
Winner- Nikki Bella

John Cena vs Dolph Ziggler
Ziggler gets a quick advantage with a side headlock, but Cena sends him into the ropes, sticks an arm drag, and slaps on an arm bar. Ziggler manages to roll to the outside of the ring to gather himself.
After a commercial break Ziggler has a sleeper hold on Cena. Cena fight out, but eats a neck breaker for a two count. Ziggler hits eight straight elbow drops. Ziggler misses the ninth. Cena hits the Cena combo, but before the five knuckle shuffle Ziggler drop kicks Cena. Cena tries the AA, but Ziggler slides down Cena’s back for a sunset flip for another two count. Cena locks in the STF, but Ziggler slips out and puts on a sleeper hold. Cena gets to his feet with Ziggler on his back. Cena AA’s Ziggler, but Ziggler rolls out of the ring.
Cena goes to the outside puts Ziggler back in the ring. Cena tries to cover Ziggler but Ziggler kicks out right before the three count. Cena puts Ziggler on the top rope for a top rope AA, but Ziggler wiggles out. Ziggler runs up the ropes and DDT’s Cena off the middle rope. Cena somehow manages to kick out. Ziggler goes to the corner and tunes up the band for sweet chin music. Cena catches Ziggler’s foot and almost takes Ziggler’s head of with a lariat. Cena tries to AA Cena again, but Ziggler turns it into the fameasser! Ziggler only manages another two count.
Cena trips Ziggler into another STF. Ziggler slowly manages to get to the bottom rope to cause a break. Ziggler rolls to the apron. Cena grabs him and tries to suplex him. Ziggler knocks him off. Ziggler dives off the top but Cena catches him and puts him up for the AA. Ziggler rakes Cena’s face and then superkicks Cena for yet another close two count. Ziggler and Cena trade punches in the ring. Cena goes for another AA, but Ziggler hits a zigzag. Cena still kicks out. Ziggler runs at Cena, but ends up running right into an AA. Ziggler is done.
Winner- John Cena

The Dudley Boyz vs The Ascension
Konnor and Viktor attack D-Von and toss Bubba to the outside. Viktor bodyslams D-Von and locks in a double under-hook lock. Viktor misses an elbow drop, which allows D-Von to tag in Bubba, who cleans house. Viktor charges Bubba in the corner, but Bubba moves out of the way. Bubba and D-Von hit the doomsday device, then the 3D for the win.
Winners- The Dudley Boyz
Neville and Cesaro vs King Barrett and Sheamus
Neville starts off face, flipping all around the ring and hitting a middle rope dropkick before tagging in Cesaro. Neville and Cesaro take turns stomping on Barrett. Sheamus tags in and Cesaro hits multiple European uppercuts on him. Sheamus gut punches Cesaro and suplexes him. Sheamus tries the battering ram, but eats another European uppercut. Cesaro then picks up Neville and launches him over the top rope onto both Sheamus and Barrett. Neville rolls up Sheamus, but when Sheamus kicks out Barrett bullhammers him while the referee is distracted for the win.
Winners- King Barrett and Sheamus

Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman
Reigns grabs a mic and tries to tell us why he hates Bray Wyatt, but his promo is overshadowed by the Chicago crowd yelling what and boring. Thankfully, Wyatt’s music hits and the Wyatt Family appears on the stage. Wyatt tells Reigns that he can try to blame him all he wants but a massacre is waiting for him at Hell in a Cell.

Strowman and Reigns pace around the ring before locking up. Strowman tosses Reigns across the ring like a rag doll. Reigns with a go behind on Strowman, but Strowman elbows him in the face. Reigns goes on a punch/elbow flurry, before being picked up an driven into one corner, and then the other corner. Strowman traps Reigns in the corner and clotheslines Reigns. Reigns is in trouble. Reigns hits a stiff right hand, but Strowman shrugs it off and bodyslams Reigns.
Strowman locks in a nerve hold, shades of Haku. Reigns grabs Strowman’s beard to get out of if. Reigns hits multiple rights, lefts, kicks and clotheslines. Reigns hits the ropes and clotheslines Strowman. Reigns attempts a Samoan drop, but he can’t get Strowman up. Strowman runs over Reigns. Reigns rolls to the outside. Reigns traps Strowman in the ropes and hits the drive by. Reigns tries for another, but Reigns dives right into a sick clothesline by Strowman.
Strowman comes to the outside, but he eats a Superman punch. Harper comes over to help, but Reigns runs up the steel steps and Superman punches Harper. Reigns then turns around and does the same to Strowman, which sends Strowman careening over the announce table. Reigns rolls back in the ring as the referee counts to ten.
Winner- Roman Reigns.
After the match Wyatt lays on the bottom rope and says follow the buzzard. Reigns uppercuts Wyatt and walks away.

Rusev vs Ryback
Michael Cole mentions that TMZ broke the story that Rusev and Lana are engaged. The announce team plays up the fact that they don’t have any idea why Summer Rae is still out here with Rusev.

Ryback immediately slams Rusev. Ryback misses a splash, which allows Rusev to take control. Rusev works over Rybacks arm. Ryback hits a belly to back suplex after a flying shoulder block. Meathook clothesline by Ryback. Rusev gets out of the shellshock and super kicks Ryback. Rusev pins Ryback with his feet on the ropes, but the referee sees it. Ryback hits the shellshock for the win.
Winner- Ryback
After the match, Summer Rae goes in on Rusev for the fact that he wasn’t man enough to tell her he has been engaged for a month. Summer Rae slaps him and storms off.
Kalisto vs Kevin Owens
Kalisto kicks Owens over and over and over again in the leg. Kalisto takes down Owens with a spinning head scissors. Owens responds with a clothesline. Owens back body drops Kalisto over the top rope. Owens hits the ropes as if he is going to dive to the outside, but Owens just rolls to the outside and punches Kalisto. Kalisto tries a somersault but Owens just moves out of the way. Kalisto hits a spinning DDT to stun Owens for a two count. Kalisto dives off the top but gets caught in a powerbomb by Owens for the win.
Winner- Kevin Owens
Alicia Fox and Brie Bella vs Charlotte and Becky Lynch
Lynch hits two arm drags into an arm bar on Brie. Charlotte tags in and they flip Brie over and hit double legdrops to both Brie’s arms. Charlotte hit the Charlotte combo on Brie, followed by a huge spear on Brie. After a distraction from Paige, Brie gets the pin on Charlotte after a missile dropkick.
Winners- Alicia Fox and Brie Bella

Backstage, Triple H and Stephanie are yelling at Kane for booking himself against Seth Rollins tonight. Triple H tells Kane that he doesn’t care who he puts in the match against Rollins, but it can’t be Kane.
After a short break, Rollins is backstage trying to get Big Show to be on his side during the lumberjack match. Big Show laughs at him and walks away. Kane appears and tells Rollins that He will not be Rollins opponent tonight, but he will find a suitable replacement. Rollins looks scared.

Rollins vs “The Demon” Kane
Looks like Triple H told corperate Kane he could not be in this match. They didn’t say anything about Demon Kane. Rollins tries to run, but the lumberjacks quickly toss him back in the ring. Kane pounds on Rollins. Kane tosses Rollins to the outside multiple times. Rollins clotheslines Kane to the outside and the lumberjacks take a step back and let Kane get back in the ring on his own. Rollins runs to the outside and jumps the barricade. Cesaro goes into the crowd and drags him back in the ring.
Kane gets knocked to the outside. He takes a moment to take out The New Day. Big Show walks up to him and Kane punches him. Big Show hits the WMD. The New Day put Kane back in the ring and Rollins tires to pin him, but Kane kicks out. Rollins kicks Kane in the head then ascends the top rope. Rollins sends Kane to the mat with a diving knee to the face. Another two count by Rollins. Rollins goes back up top for a frog splash. Kane kicks out at two once again. Rollins goes to the top rope for a third time, but Kane uppercuts him. Kane takes Rollins over with a middle rope superplex.
The New Day pulls Kane out of the ring and all of the heels attack Kane. The heels throw Kane back in the ring. Big E. tries to splash Kane, but Kane sits up. The faces charge the ring and there is a melee. Rollins tries to pedigree Kane, but Kane reverse it into a tombstone piledriver for the win.
Winner- Kane
