10/19 WWE Raw Report

Glass shatters as Stone Cold Steve Austin makes his way to the ring. He puts over the city of Dallas and that he had his first match there. He plugs his live podcast that will be taking place tonight after Monday Night Raw. Austin calls out Undertaker, who obliges. Undertaker tells us that he is going to make Brock Lesnar’s worst fears look like the gates of heaven this Sunday at Hell in a Cell. Lesnar’s music hits as Lesnar and Paul Heyman walk out on the stage. Heyman says he was just talking to Lesnar about how it’s ironic that they are both Lesnar and Undertaker are walking into Hell in a Cell looking for revenge. Undertaker takes off his coat and hat and tells Lesnar that the problem here is that when you take everything from a man that man is now fighting with nothing to lose. Lesnar starts walking to the ring as Heyman tries to hold him back. Lesnar hops on the apron as Heyman yells, “he has gotten in your head!” Lesnar thinks better of it and walks to the back.

John Cena and The Dudley Boyz vs The New Day
Bubba spends the opening minutes of the match tossing Kingston around like a rag doll. Bubba tags in D-Von and they hit a double elbow drop. Kingston scoots to the outside to regroup with the rest of New Day.
 
After the commercial break, New Day are stomping a mud hole in Cena. Woods his a seated front-faced DDT. Big E. tags in and picks up Cena for a sidewalk slam. Cena hits a drop kick, but Big E. responds with a belly to belly. Big E. misses a splash, which allows Cena to tag in D-Von. D-Von is in control, until Woods surprises D-Von with a schoolboy for the win.
Winners- The New Day
After the match Cena hits an AA on Woods. The Dudleys and Cena power bomb Woods off the top rope through a table.

The announcers tell us that Randy Orton is missing. They intimate that The Wyatt Family may have gotten to him. At this point, Dean Ambrose seemingly needs a new partner.
Backstage Dean Ambrose says he will go it alone if he has to.

Team Bella vs. Team Bad
Banks and Fox lock up. Fox grabs a side headlock and sends Banks to the mat. Banks responds with a drop kick. Banks tags in Naomi and they hit a tandem leap frog attack on Fox.

After a short break, Nikki has Naomi in a rear chin lock. Naomi fights out, with a few kicks, but Nikki drop kicks her. Naomi tags in Sasha, but Nikki elbows her face off. Naomi tags in but Nikki picks her up for the rack attack. Naomi fights out of it, but gets sent right into the turnbuckle. Nikki hits the rack attack for the win.

Winners- Team Bella
Michael Cole announces that after Kane’s actions last week on Raw The Authority has suspended him.
Shawn Michaels is in the ring to tell us why we should all watch Hell in a Cell. Seth Rollins interrupts HBK because I guess he figured we didn’t need yet another in ring commercial for Hell in a Cell. Rollins asks HBK what the hell he is doing out here. Rollins says HBK was sent out here to introduce him. HBK says he has been given instruction in the back all the time, but by the time he gets to the ring, poof, its gone.

Rollins chastises HBK for bothering to talk about the other matches on the card. Rollins referred to himself as Shawn Michaels 2.0. HBK tells him that the funny thing about people like Rollins is that they are so worried about being the next Shawn Michaels. HBK says he was too worried about being the greatest wrestler to ever live to be the second coming of someone else. Rollins says he is done with this and asks them to hit his music… and they don’t. HBK tells Rollins he has a match right now against Ryback.

Seth Rollins vs Ryback


Ryback charges Rollins and drives him into the corner. Rollins stuns Ryback with a jawbreaker. Ryback almost hits a vertical suplex, but Rollins rolls out of it. Ryback sends Rollins tumbling to the mat after a knife-edge chop. Vertical suplex by Ryback. Rollins rolls to the outside. Ryback tries a press slam, but Rollins gets out and drives Ryback into the ring apron. Rollins dives to the outside and sends Ryback stomach first into the announce table. Ryback hits a back body drop and a tilt-a-whirl slam. Rollins rolls to the apron. Ryback grabs Rollins by the hair and Rollins kicks Ryback in the gut. Rollins hits a quick pedigree for the win.

Dolph Ziggler, Cesaro, and Neville vs Rusev, King Barrett, and Sheamus
Neville and Rusev lock up. Rusev tries to over power Neville, but Neville uses his speed to hit a few kicks and lock in an arm bar. Neville leapfrogs and goes for his rolling flipping thingie, followed by a second rope splash. Neville tags in Cesaro, who slams Rusev. Sheamus tags in and he and King Barrett take turns beating down Neville. Rusev tags in and pummels Neville in the corner. Neville tries to go for the red arrow, but Sheamus distracts him long enough for Rusev to send Neville flying off the apron into the announce table.

After a commercial, Sheamus tries to suplex Neville, but Neville goes between his legs and tags in Cesaro. Cesaro hits multiple European uppercuts and a big boot on Sheamus. Cesaro almost swings Sheamus, but Sheamus reverse it into a power slam. Cesaro tags in Ziggler and Sheamus tags in Barrett. Ziggler hit the fameasser for a near fall. Ziggler goes for the super kick, but Barrett blocks it. Ziggler reverses a winds of change attempt into a crucifix pin, but Barrett kicks out. Ziggler hits the super kick, Cesaro big boots Sheamus, Rusev super kicks Cesaro and Ziggler sends Rusev to the outside. Ziggler get Brogue kicked through the ring ropes by Sheamus. Barrett pins Ziggler for the win.


Winners- Rusev, King Barrett, and Sheamus
Ric Flair is in the ring hyping WrestleMania in Dallas, Texas this year. Flair also tells us that Dean Ambrose won’t be going it alone tonight. Roman Reigns will team up with Dean Ambrose tonight to take on The Wyatt Family.
The Wyatt Family appears out of nowhere. Wyatt is flanked by Brawn Strowman and Eric Rowen. Luke Harper is nowhere to be found. Reigns goes and gets two chairs and sets them up in the ring so he can talk to Wyatt.

Backstage Rollins is with Triple H and Stephanie. HBK walks in as they are all talking about how Reigns and Ambrose need another partner. HBK suggest that Rollins should tag with Ambrose and Reigns tonight. HBK goads Rollins into thinking this is a good idea. Rollins will team with Reigns and Ambrose against the Wyatts tonight.

Charlotte vs Brie Bella


Charlotte sends Brie down to the mat, and then rolls Brie over with a figure four headlock. Charlotte tosses Brie out of the ring and yells at Nikki to get in the ring. Brie gets on the second rope but Charlotte hits a tiger uppercut. Nikki grabs the Divas title and poses with it Brie slams Charlotte down to the mat. Brie hits the Brie mode knee smash for a two count.
Brie locks in a sleeper, but Charlotte fights to her feet. Brie follows up with a running bulldog for another near fall. Brie hits a few kicks to Charlotte’s chest but Charlotte catches her foot and hits a discuss lariat. Spear by Charlotte, then the figure eight. Brie has no choice but to tap out.
Winner- Charlotte
Backstage Renee Young asks Paige if she attacked Natalya last week. Paige dodges the questions. Renee belabors the point and Paige looses it. She runs down a list of past and present Divas, including Alundra Blayze who could have been responsible.
Mark Henry vs Kevin Owens
Owens insults Texas, and Henry head-butts him and tosses him over the top rope. Henry sends Owens back into the ring, but before Henry can get back in the ring Owens stomps on him. Owens gets head-butted again and Henry body slams him. Henry misses a standing splash, which give Owens an opening to hit a running senton. Henry keeps head-butting Owens. Henry tells Owens that he is a part time bully, and Henry has been a bully for 19 years. Henry sends Owens into the turnbuckle. Henry charges Owens, but ends up eating a superkick. Owens hits the pop up power bomb for the win. Yes, you read that right.
Winner- Kevin Owens.

After the match, Ryback comes down to the ring. Owen’s tries to leave, but Henry tosses him back in the ring. Ryback destroys Owens with a power bomb.


The Shield vs The Wyatt Family
Each team meets in the center of the ring. Rollins is hesitant, but eventually joins. Rollins tells Reigns and Ambrose that he is going to start the match. Rollins turns around and Rowen is standing there. Rollins tags in Reigns, who beats down Rowen. Reigns tags in Ambrose who hits a diving dropkick. Rollins tags himself in and hits a few stinger splashes on Bray. Bray big boots Rollins, and then a modified gut buster that sends Rollins to the outside of the ring.
After another commercial break Ambrose is doing his best to take Strowman off his feet. Ambrose hits a diving dropkick, but Strowman is barley phased by it. Ambrose charges Strowman in the corner, but Strowman runs over Ambrose. Rowen tags in and takes Ambrose down with a sidewalk slam. Strowman is back in and he takes a moment to step on Ambrose’s head. Wyatt tags in and crushes Ambrose with a senton splash. Ambrose fights out of a rear chin lock.
Missile drop kick to Wyatt. Ambrose is about to tag in Rollins, but Rollins drops off the apron clutching his knee. Ambrose hits the rebound lariat to Rowen. Ambrose tags in Reigns who clears the ring. On the outside of the ring Strowman tries to clothesline Reigns but Reigns ducks and hits the drive by on Rowen. Strowman slaps on his hug finisher on Reigns. Ambrose grabs a kendo stick from under the ring and attacks Strowman with it.

Winner- The Wyatt Family by disqualification

After the match the fight continues. Ambrose tries to dive on to Strowman, but Strowman catches him and slams him on the mat. Reigns launches himself over the top rope onto everyone. Reigns hits a spear on Wyatt and Rowen to end the night.
