Ronda Rousey Being Considered For Stone Cold Podcast, MMA Fighter Hired as WWE Striking Coach

WWE has hired Seth Petruzelli, the former MMA fighter who stepped in for Ken Shamrock and beat Kimbo Slice in fourteen seconds at EliteXC: Heat in 2008, to work as a striking coach at the WWE Performance Center. Petruzelli lives in Orlando and will be working three times a week at the center

Ronda Rousey could end up as a guest on the WWE Network’s Stone Cold Podcast. The WON reports that WWE is considering both Rousey and Eric Bischoff for future episodes of Steve Austin’s live podcast.

In addition, the site says that there had discussions a few months back of having Rousey do an angle at Hell in a Cell, as it’s in her hometown of Los Angeles. However, since she isn’t going to be at WrestleMania 32 those plans appear to be dead.

Opinionated View- Also given Rousey has a fight coming up and is in camp I doubt she would even have time to appear. Nothing against Petruzelli but why hire an MMA fighter to train wrestlers. I mean yeah some guys do good striking but not everyone is going to do a real fighter gimmick. They need to worry about showing the talents how to throw good worked punches and kicks.
