As previously reported, Dolph Ziggler has been removed from WWE TV “indefinitely” after a storyline injury caused by Rusev last week. While this has caused speculation about his contract status, it appears as though he will stay in WWE.
PWInsider (via Wrestlezone) reports that Ziggler has signed a new contract with the company. He’s off TV because he’s shooting the new WWE Studios movie 6:42. The film is a thriller in which Ziggler plays a cop named Ray Fitzpatrick. He has to overcome his past while dealing with a plot to blow up a kid with a bomb strapped to their chest. Filming will last for four weeks. Ziggler should be back on TV in time for Summerslam.
