The Authority comes out to plug Summerslam being four hours now, then they announce Big Show versus Dean Ambrose for tonight. In addition, Paige versus Sasha Banks, Kevin Owens versus Randy Orton, and Becky Lynch & Charlotte versus Alicia Fox & Nikki Bella are announced, then Seth Rollins brags about his accomplishments. Rollins says he needs them all to stand up and admit he will go down as one of the greatest champions ever, then John Cena cuts him off.
Cena says he thinks Rollins is a joke and since tonight is a night of ‘firsts’ they should see Rollins be a man for once. Cena says he wants a title match tonight, but Rollins tells him to shut the hell up and this is a title he needs to earn a shot at. Stephanie cuts him off and says they should let the people choose, so they (obviously) cheer, but Stephanie says no. She says Rollins is right and they need to earn title shots here, then Triple H says Rollins will face Cena, but it’s for the United States title, because it’s best for business.
