7/16 WWE Smackdown Report

Roman Reigns comes to the ring and calls Bray Wyatt out, and Bray appears on the Titantron. Bray makes some idle threats but Reigns tells him to come make good on it right now. Bray says Reigns can believe in the fans and parade around, but none of it is real; Reigns says they saw Bray run from him on RAW and that is real. Bray says he wants Reigns to go home and surround himself with loved ones, and he should apologize because he can’t promise that he will leave Battleground.
Lucha Dragons vs The New Day (w/ Xavier Woods)
Kofi kicks Cara in the corner, then E tags in but Cara takes him down with an armdrag and Kalisto hits a backbreaker. Kalisto gets knocked outside and slammed into the barricade as we go to a break, then we get back to see Cara go for a senton. E ducks but Cara tags out, and Kalisto goes for a corkscrew elbow before Kofi runs in. Kalisto kicks him in the face, then Cara splashes him on the floor and E goes for a German suplex. Kalisto hits the Solida Del Sol but Woods interferes, then Cara gets knocked off the apron and E and Kofi hit a tandem Big Ending for the win.
Winners – The New Day

Jack Swagger vs Bad News Barrett 
Swagger and Wade fight for position before Swagger takes him down, then he hits a clothesline but Wade comes back with some strikes. They fight near the apron before Wade connects with some knees, then Wade catches him with a Bullhammer for the win.


Winner – Bad News Barrett
King Whazzup (R-Truth) comes out and Wade says this is enough, and Truth makes a mockery of his crown. Wade says he won this honor and Truth parades around like a joke, so he is going to beat him down and make him bow to the real King. 

Rusev (w/ Summer Rae) vs Cesaro 
Cesaro applies a waistlock and knocks Rusev down, then Rusev comes back with some strikes and a fallaway slam. Rusev hits him a few more times before Cesaro comes back with a German suplex, then Rusev splashes him near the ropes to block a second. Rusev hits a fallaway slam for two as we go to a break, then we get back to see Rusev connect with a headbutt and a headlock. Cesaro fights back with some elbows, then ducks a clothesline and connects with a springboard corkscrew uppercut.
Cesaro connects with several rolling uppercuts in the corner, then he slams Rusev down for two before connecting with a dropkick. Rusev comes back with a spinning heel kick for two, then he goes for the Accolade but Cesaro blocks it. Rusev takes him outside and kicks him in the face, then rolls him in and hesitates before going up top. Cesaro pops up and nails him with a rolling uppercut, then picks him up and hits the Neutralizer for the win.
Winner – Cesaro

Neville vs Stardust 
Neville connects with a kick but Stardust knocks him down and knees him, then he applies an armbar but Neville armdrags him. Neville sends him outside and hits a springboard somersault splash, then Neville goes for a springboard rollup but Stardust blocks it. Stardust grabs the ropes and tries to steal a pin, but the ref catches him and breaks it up. Neville uses the break to catch Stardust offguard, and rolls him up for the win.
Winner – Neville
Neville talks to Rich Brennan about his win backstage, but Stardust shows up and attacks him from behind. Stardust hits him a few times and says there’s going to be turbulence in the ‘Altitude Era’, and laughs as he runs away.
JoJo interviews Naomi, Tamina and Sasha Banks, and Naomi says it’s about time the sides are even in the Divas Division. Naomi says they got Sasha, and Sasha says it’s there time to take over and runs things. She says the rest of the Divas think they can handle things, but they run things, and Naomi says they are “bad”. She declares they are “BAD: Best At Dominating”, and Sasha says they can bank on that.
Dean Ambrose & Roman Reignsvs Sheamus & Big Show 


Sheamus catches Ambrose with a forearm shot but Ambrose rebounds with a clothesline, and Sheamus rolls outside. Big Show regroups with Sheamus but Reigns runs around and punches him, then Ambrose hits a splash off the turnbuckles. We get back from a break to see Show punching Ambrose in the corner, but Ambrose fights back with some chops and hits the ropes. Show clotheslines him and Sheamus tags in, then he scoop slams Ambrose and trades some punches.
Ambrose dropkicks him and hits the ropes, but Show knocks him down behind the ref’s back and Sheamus hits a backbreaker. Show tags in and punches Ambrose a few times, then Sheamus tags back in and keeps Ambrose grounded. Show assists with some stomps, then Ambrose stuns him with some strikes and makes the tag. Reigns tags in and connects with several clotheslines, then he tags Sheamus with an uppercut and a Samoan drop.
Reigns goes for a Superman punch but Show hits him from behind, and he sends him into Sheamus, who hits White Noise. Ambrose breaks up the pin and tackles Show on the floor, but Show catches him and tries to chokeslam him. Ambrose counters with a DDT through the announcer’s table, then Reigns and Sheamus slug it out in the ring. Sheamus hits Reigns in the corner but Reigns connects with a Superman punch, then Bray Wyatt runs in and attacks Reigns for the disqualification. Reigns counters Sister Abigail and spears Wyatt, then Sheamus, and leaves him laying on the ramp as the show ends.
Winners (by disqualification) – Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns
