Brock Lesnar Not In Talks to Renew With WWE Yet?

 Dave Meltzer reports in The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Jim Ross told him that Brock Lesnar has not yet begun serious talks to renew his WWE contract. Ross said that his understanding is that there are no major discussions yet.

As you may recall, Lesnar reportedly signed a three-year deal back in 2012. Since any decision-making regarding WrestleMania and the period after would likely be very dependent on whether Lesnar is under contract, negotiations should probably begin soon. It was noted that Lesnar may be able to leverage more favorable negotiations thanks to a potential UFC return. Lesnar is thirty-eight and fighting may not be in his best interests, but his return would likely be a big boost to UFC PPV buys.
