June 2nd WWE Raw Report

We start off with highlights from last night’s Main Event between Evolution and The Shield. In the end, it was Evolution that was vanquished at the hands of The Shield. What happens tonight? What about the champion who is without his bride after what happened at Payback?
We are in Indianapolis, Indiana and your announcers are Michael ‘Mayflower’ Cole, JerryChitwood’ Lawler, and John ‘Larry Legend’ Layfield.
Evolution makes its way to the ring and Batista is wearing no blue in any visible areas. Orton is dressed for a fight while Batista and Hunter are in suits. Hunter has a black eye, which is focused on when he enters the ring.
Hunter says that they say it is always darkest just before the dawn. Funny thing is, they think they have won. Do you think they have won? Do you think this is over? The Shield think this is over. You don’t get it. None of you get it. He does not lose. He never loses. He always wins. This will continue until the Shield exists no longer.
That happens tonight.
Batista takes the mic and he says that he is done with it. Batista wants his one on one championship match like Hunter promised him.
Hunter takes another mic and he tells Dave there is a reason why he is the leader. There is a reason why he is the boss. It is because he has the ability to see the bigger picture. There is a bigger picture in play. There is a plan.
Batista says that he doesn’t care about the plan or the Shield. He did what he said he would do. He won the Royal Rumble and he earned a one on one championship match and he wants it tonight.
Hunter points out that Daniel Bryan is injured and cannot compete. Even if he could do it, he cannot give Dave a shot at the WWE Championship. He says that even if he did, Dave would probably choke. Hunter apologizes and he says that things are a little stressful around here.
There is a plan. Is this how you want this to go down? Do you want to be remembered as the man who went down to the Shield? He does not get into fights to lose. This ends when the Shield is no more. When that happens, Dave will get everything that he is promised. Until then, no one gets anything.
Batista says that he understands . . . and he quits.
Batista leaves the ring and Hunter tells him to get back into the ring. Is he going to run back to Hollywood? When your movie craps out, don’t come running back to him.
Michael talks about what we just saw.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Tom Phillips tries to get comments from Batista. He says that he was lied to about what he was promised. He is done.

We go to commercial.
We are back and one of the Principal Owners of WWE, and victim of a slap to the face, Stephanie McMahon, makes her way to the ring.
Stephanie says last night at Payback, Daniel Bryan showed his true colors. He is a selfish little man who chose himself over what was best for business, his wife, and the people. He would not surrender the WWE Championship. The people deserve a fighting champion. Daniel stood impotently by while Brie fell on the sword for her family.
Brie should have been fired on the spot a few weeks ago when Brie laid her hands on her. She gave them chance after chance, but she got a slap in the face for it.
The crowd voices their approval for what Brie did.
Stephanie says that she is tough. She is a McMahon and she can live with it.
Can Daniel wake up in the morning and see her dreams broken over his selfishness. This is bigger than Daniel Bryan. At Money in the Bank, if Daniel Bryan can compete, he will defend his title against Kane in a Stretcher Match.
If Daniel cannot compete, the Money in the Bank Ladder Match will be for the Vacated WWE Championship.
John Cena makes his way to the ring.
Stephanie says the people like him as much as they like her. She congratulates him on his win over Bray Wyatt and she asks John if he is okay.
John says that we probably have not seen the last of Bray. John lets the crowd get their ‘Cena Sucks’ chants out of their system. He says the sound of the WWE Universe is something that he loves. Stephanie has a tough job and she has to make some tough choices. Some are good and some are questionable.
John says this title situation has gotten out of hand. He says that as a fourteen time champion who knows what it takes to win and lose a championship. He knows what is like to give away a championship. John reminds us that he had to give up the title.
Stephanie says that John knew what was right.
John says that the WWE Universe deserves to see a fighting champion. No one person is bigger than that championship. Not a spoiled egomaniac named Stephanie McMahon.
Stephanie points out that the people are cheering John now.
John understands that Stephanie does not like Daniel Bryan, but Daniel is really good. The WWE Universe can be as loud as they want for whomever they want. At the end of the day it is about proving yourself in the ring. Every time Daniel Bryan steps in the ring, he proves that he is championship material. Daniel Bryan beat him fair and square at SummerSlam and then you took it from him. Every time that Daniel has been close, Stephanie has taken it.
John says that he knew he would get another shot when he gave up the title. Daniel is afraid that Stephanie will take his career away from him.
Stephanie says that Daniel is good, but he is not great. He is not physically able to compete right now. Daniel has not defended the title in more than 30 days. As a boss, she has to do what is best for business, popular or not popular.
John points out that he has had four surgeries that have taken him out of action. Triple H has had surgeries that took him out of action. Stephanie . . . has had surgeries.
Business is what is best for business. It is personal because she does not like Daniel Bryan and it has gotten in the way of what is best for business. She has embarrassed the legacy of the WWE Championship and the people’s time.
John says that on a scale of one to ten to give her a job evaluation, she gets a zero. That means that she sucks.
The people give Stephanie a zero.
Stephanie says that she does not care what John or the people grade her. She cares about opportunity. She tells John that she will give him an opportunity tonight. He might be a little beaten up after last night’s match. Tonight, John Cena will face The Demon Kane. That match is now. Stephanie tells John that paybacks are a bitch, and so is she.

The Shield come to the ring and Dean asks how do they look because they feel great. They are bruised and beaten up. They faced their biggest challenge to date against Evolution. When the napalm settled, they did what they said they would do. A clean sweep without a single casualty. That is what he calls domination.
Seth says adapt or perish. That was the situation. The Shield adapted while Evolution perished. Earlier tonight, the world was witness to their implosion. The reason Evolution perished is because while they are three of the greatest superstars in the industry, they were not one . . . like the Shield. In the end, they were three strangers who were standing on the same side of the ring.
Roman says that they were not brothers. He tells Randy to bring his ass out here so he can break his jaw with the symbol of excellence.
Triple H says that what he does better than anybody is adapt. Last night was Plan A. Tonight is Plan B. There is always a Plan B.
