WWE has released an estimate of 107,000 buys for the Extreme Rules PPV in May. This is down from last year's 209,000, but there are some good reasons for that. The event was streamed on the WWE Network and some cable companies, along with DirecTV and Dish Network, did not carry it. Even with this disadvantage it still had 40,000 buys in North America.
Opinionated View- Sadly I have feeling since Daniel Bryan was champion he will get the blame. ANd people both in and out of the WWE won't consider the fact the even was promoted awful. Bryan faced Kane in a match no one wanted to see. And the stuff with DirecTV and Dish.
