Why Wasn't John Cena on This Week's Raw?

The reason why John Cena was not on this past Monday's 5/5 WWE RAW and instead on the 5/6 WWE Main Event on WWE Network was because WWE wanted to raise the profile of WWE Main Event and the WWE Network according to a report by Mike Johnson. It is said that one of WWE's top goals currently is to increase the number of subscriptions to the WWE Network.
