Becky Lynch May Do Backstage Injury Segment at No Mercy

Becky Lynch’s match at No Mercy may be off, but it’s still very possible she will appear on the show. Wrestling Observer Radio reports that Lynch’s health issue, which is still undisclosed, isn’t said to be serious and that there may be a backstage injury angle similar to what was done with Randy Orton last month at Backlash.

The site notes that Lynch is expected to be back fairly soon from whatever the issue is.

WrestlingInc.com reports that multiple sources are confirming that Becky Lynch has not been cleared to compete at No Mercy tonight. Lynch is reportedly backstage for the event, but she will not be getting in the ring for her originally scheduled match against Alexa Bliss. However, as mentioned earlier, it’s likely she will appear to do some sort of injury angle.

PWInsider is reporting that Lynch’s health issue is preventing her from taking bumps, and she does not have a physical injury. Additionally, she’s not been suspended. It was ruled by WWE officials that she cannot take any bumps until her health issue has been resolved.

Lynch’s last appearance in the ring was at Smackdown last week. She and Nikki Bella lost in match to Carmella and Alexa Bliss. Her last live event appearance was on October 3 in Palm Springs. She teamed up with Naomi against Bliss, Natalya and Carmella in a Handicap Match. She reportedly did not make an appearance at last night’s WWE house show in Portland, Oregon.

Opinionated View- First and foremost you just hope Becky will be ok. But I can't help but worry WWE will strip her of the belt and have the Nikki vs. Carmella for the title or bring back Eva and have her beat Alexa Bliss.
