PWInsider reports that an official announcement of Billy Corgan’s promotion to president of Impact Ventures was made during a meeting with the TNA roster and staff in Orlando ahead of the press release announcement. The site reports that this is not a storyline and is “100% legitimate.”
Corgan reportedly received a big round of applause when he was announced and that there was a big jump in morale among talent afterward. Corgan spoke for about ten minutes talking about his hopes and strategy for the company moving ahead.
