Joey Styles gone from WWE in his position as the Vice-President of Digital Media

Joey Styles (real name Joseph Bonsignore) is no longer employed by WWE in his role as the Vice President of Digital Media as of August.
Styles was given the role of VP of Digital Media for WWE.com back in 2008 after spending time as an announce for WWE and the relaunched ECW brand from 2005 to 2007. He worked very closely with WWE.com and a variety of digital aspects of the company the last eight years.

He is best known for his time as the lead commentator for ECW from 1993 to 2001. Styles transitioned to a role as a commentator for Court Bauer’s Major League Wrestling from 2002 to 2004 and signed a one night deal to call the WWE produced ECW One Night Stand PPV in 2005. He then signed a five year contract to do play-by-play for RAW as the lead commentator. Styles was replaced by Jim Ross on commentary for WrestleMania that year in Chicago (he did call the Mick Foley vs. Edge match that night) and then did an on-air angle where he “quit” and then became the lead announcer for the ECW brand on Syfy.
