More Details On Backstage Altercation Between Brock Lesnar & Chris Jericho: No Heat At RAW, More

PWInsider has backed up and added to reports that Brock Lesnar and Chris Jericho got into an altercation backstage after SummerSlam, which we reported on earlier.

According to their report, the SummerSlam main event finish went as planned aside from the blood, which wasn’t planned, and wrapped up only a few minutes earlier than timed.

WWE kept the finish under wraps and Jericho was not aware of it. He went to the gorilla position to check the status of Randy Orton and was “annoyed” that Orton might have been hurt by Lesnar.
Lesnar then returned to the back and, likely not realizing that Jericho was upset, made a comment that apparently “exacerbated” the situation. Jericho then confronted Brock and apparently caused him to back up.

The two then egged each other on, waiting for the other to throw the first punch, with Lesnar telling Jericho to either punch him or kiss him.

Triple H, Vince McMahon, and other WWE officials then got involved and separated the two.
Backstage at RAW, there was a lot of buzz about how “badass” Jericho was for stepping up to Lesnar (Jericho, of course, also famously took down Goldberg in a backstage altercation in WWE years ago). Jericho had no heat on him at RAW and most wrote it off as “boys being boys.” Lesnar had no heat on him either and flew home Monday so he wasn’t at RAW anyway.

Opinionated View- To me this doesn't make Jericho a bad ass it makes him a god damn moron. Anyone that thought the finish of that match was real is a fucking moron. Hell I think this story might be a plant by the WWE to try and make the wrestler seem tough after the McGregor stuff.
