The Associated Press is reporting that after deliberation on Friday, the jury has sided with Hulk Hogan in his sex tape lawsuit against website Gawker awarding him $115 million.
The jury reached the decision on Friday evening after six hours of deliberations. The trial between Hogan and Gawker lasted two weeks.
Opinionated View- A few things to keep in mind. Gawker will appeal. I believe judges in some states has the right to override the jury and knock down the money for various I think there is still a chance for settlement. The idea being Hogan would get money but Gawker wouldn't have to pay as much. Finally even if Hogan does get the 115 million he has to pay taxes and fees to his legal team.
