CZW 11/08/14 Night of Infamy 2014 iPPV Results

Show opens with David Starr getting an open mic: he immediately gets
interrupted by Gulak who says Starr doesn’t deserve anything after
only being in the business for 3 years. Gulak calls him a sports
entertainer. Starr says he’s a better wrestler than Gulak. Their match
starts now.
Match 1: Drew Gulak def David Starr
Opens with techincal stuff, both
guys trying to out do each other. Starr thrust his junk into Gulak’s
face, Drew slaps the shit out of him then powerbombs him and sits on
his face for the pin attempt. Shortly after, he makes Starr tap, I
believe to the Gulock.
Match 2: Chris Dickinson def Nui Tofiga
Tofiga powers Chris around for a bit but can’t make much of a comeback until Tofiga misses coming off
the second rope. Gets in some strikes, a dropkick and gets the win
after a top rope elbow.
Match 3: Papadon and Pepper Parks w/Cherry Bomb def The Beaver Boys
BB start off hot against Parks, Best Friend Alex blows a kiss to Bomb and commentators call it
sexual harassment. Seriously, who is a better hot tag than John
Silver? After getting distracted by knocking Bomb off the apron,
Silver gets rolled up by Papadon with a huge handful of tights. Post
match, Team Tremendous comes out to arrest the Beaver Boys who get
away only to be stopped by Supercop Dick Justice (from AIW). Beaver
Boys get taken to the back in handcuffs by Team Tremendous.
Match 4: Lucky 13 vs Preacher vs Eric Corvis vs Joe Gacy vs Alex Colon
vs Latin Dragon. Winner gets a Wired title shot at COD.
Joe Gacy gets the win.
Colon and LDrags go non stop. Lots of multi man spots. Gacy hits a moonsault on
everyone on the outside. Colon nearly kills Preacher dropping him on
his head on the apron. Gacy picks up the win, gets a Joe chant and
looked like a beast. Fuck, Preacher got legit stretchered out after
the match.
Match 5: Matt Tremont def Greg Excellent
Um why? Excellent steals someone’s hoodie. Referee Dan Yost counts them both out and Tremont
grabs the mic and says CZW has been comfort zone. Greg says they
aren’t ringing the bell like pussies and offers Tremont a CZW hardcore
match and they keep going. Lots of fun plunder. Matt breaks a keyboard
over Greg’s head. Tremont gets the win after a powerbomb on two back
to back chairs. Excellent has a huge knot on his head. Challenges
Tremont to a tag team, ultraviolent food fight of life and death.
Match 6: Alexander James def Donovan Dijak
No idea who this guy is but he’s huge. Announced at 270, jacked and had a few inches on James. AJ gets the win.
Match 7: Tag title match: OI4K def Speedball Mike Bailey and Dirty Buxx
Belmar to retain
Canadians are super over. OI4K not nearly so. Dave Crist
counters a SSP into a crusher and Speedball kicks out. Awesome spot.
This is awesome chant. Killshot on Buxx wins it. Crowd would not have
been opposed to a title change at all.
Match 8: CZW World Championship match: Sozio def Blk Jeez to retain
Lots of chain wrestling to start. Not bad. Taunting Niles chant. Jeez with a
huge dive onto The Front. Jeez hits an ace crusher off the top but the
Front pull the ref out before he can count the three. Jeez hits a
moonsault double stomp but the Front run in (after being thrown out
form ringside) and the match is thrown out. A DQ, I think. Gulak runs
on to help Jeez who doesn’t appreciate it and shoves Drew until Drew
snaps and attacks him. Them and Sozio end up brawling until the ring
is full of security trying to keep the three apart. Jeez cuts a
‘controversial’ promo after the match calling Sozio Niles Young
repeatedly and say he wants him and Gulak at COD.
Match 9: Panes of Glass match for the Wired title: Shane Strickland def Devon Moore to retain
Strickland in jeans and a beater for this match. Dev
pulls out a fork (sup Mox?) Shane bleeds for the first time I can
remember seeing. Shane gets hip tossed through the first pane of glass
to the crowd’s delight. Dev rips off Shane’s shirt and hits a rolling
fireman’s off the top through the second pane of glass. Moore pulls a
barbed wire board into the ring. Strickland hits a sunset flip bomb
off the top through the board onto Dev for the win.
