This week’s show will feature the Golden Gauntlet, a series of matches to determine who will earn a title match against World Champion Michael Elgin.
Match Number One: BJ Whitmer (with Adam Page and Tadarius Thomas) versus Caprice Coleman in a Golden Gauntlet Match
They lock up and Coleman with a waist lock but Whitmer with a wrist lock. Coleman with a reversal and Whitmer with a head butt and hammer lock. Coleman with a reversal but Whitmer with a top wrist lock. Whitmer with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Whitmer with a side head lock take down but Coleman with a head scissors. Whitmer with a side head lock take down and Coleman with a head scissors. Coleman with arm drags but Whitmer with a kick and punch.
Coleman with a leg lariat followed by a back heel kick and he gets a near fall. Whitmer backs into the corner and he takes advantage with an eye poke and chops. Coleman with chops of his own. Whitmer and Coleman continue with chops. Whitmer with another thumb to the eye. Coleman with a kick and chops. Whitmer with a forearm to the head and then he connects with a suplex.
Whitmer with a belly-to-back suplex and he gets a near fall but Coleman with a head scissors. Whitmer gets to the ropes and Coleman releases the hold. Whitmer with a boot to the midsection. Whitmer with a punch and he sends Coleman into the turnbuckles. They go back and forth with chops. Whitmer with a head butt. Whitmer with a snap mare and reverse chin lock.
Coleman with elbows but Whitmer pulls Coleman to the mat by the hair. Whitmer with a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Whitmer kicks Coleman and slaps him but Coleman slaps back. They go back and forth with slaps. Whitmer with a knee that sends Coleman into the corner. Whitmer kicks Coleman.
Whitmer with a slam and we go to commercial.
We are back and each man goes for a clothesline and they are both down. Coleman punches Whitmer and then he misses a punch but so does Whitmer. Whitmer misses a punch and Coleman with a springboard clothesline for a near fall. Coleman goes for the rolling suplexes but Whitmer blocks it. Coleman with a flatline followed by a Cobra Stretch but Whitmer rolls over to get a near fall.
Coleman with an Irish whip but he runs into a boot. Coleman goes for the leaping rana but Page holds on to Whitmer while Page distracts the referee. Whitmer with a clothesline for the three count.

Match Number Two: BJ Whitmer (with Adam Page and Tadarius Thomas) versus Matt Taven in a Golden Gauntlet Match
Whitmer with punches and kicks but Taven floats over and he kicks Whitmer. Taven with a missile drop kick for a near fall. Whitmer sends Taven into the turnbuckles and then he punches Taven and then chops him. Taven chops Whitmer. Taven tries for an O’Connor Roll but Whitmer holds the ropes. Taven with a drop kick and Whitmer goes to the floor. Whitmer moves out of the way when Taven wants to go for a dive to the floor. Taven follows Whitmer around the ring and then Whitmer gets back in.
Page tries to attack Taven but Taven with a super kick. Whitmer sends Taven into the guardrails. The fans want Whitmer to send Taven into more guardrails, but he sends Taven back into the ring. Whitmer with an elbow to the bridge of the nose. Taven and Whitmer exchange chops and Whitmer with a hard Irish whip. Whitmer stands on Taven’s chest for a near fall. Whitmer chokes Taven in the ropes and then he stretches him before chopping him in the chest.
Whitmer gets a near fall. Whitmer with a punch. Taven with an enzuigiri and Taven goes for a quebrada but Whitmer moves. Taven with a super kick for a near fall. Whitmer blocks a suplex and Whitmer with a waist lock but Taven holds on to the ropes. Whitmer with a power slam for a near fall. Whitmer with two rolling fisherman’s suplexes for a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Taven is up top but Whitmer rolls away. Taven leaps over Whitmer and hits a handspring round kick before going up top again and he hits a frog splash for the three count.

Match Number Three: Matt Taven versus Romantic Touch in a Golden Gauntlet Match
They high five and then Touch wants a handshake. They hug instead and Touch with a rollup for a near fall as he tries to take advantage of the mutual friendship. Touch with a side head lock after another hug. Taven with a head scissors and Touch escapes and applies a side head lock. Taven with a reversal and shoulder tackle. Touch gives a Sexy Party followed by an arm drag into an arm bar. Taven with a wrist lock and a series of reversals. Touch with a back elbow out of the corner for a near fall.
Touch with a drop kick to the head and he gets a near fall. Touch punches Taven and the referee warns him. Taven with an Irish whip and Touch floats over but Taven hits a moonsault and he gets a near fall. Taven with an elbow and Taven goes to the turnbuckles and he makes Touch flinch. Taven misses a moonsault, but he lands on his feet. Taven follows with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near fall.
Taven goes for Clima but Touch with an atomic drop and belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall. Touch with kicks to the head followed by a chop. Taven with a back heel kick and a kick followed by a spinning heel kick. Taven hits a springboard senton for a near fall. Touch with a kick and Taven goes for a springboard move but Touch is able to hit a drop kick to stop Taven and Touch gets a near fall.
Taven with a kick to the temple followed by Climax for the three count.

Match Number Four: Matt Taven versus Jay Lethal in a Golden Gauntlet Match
They exchange punches as the match is joined in progress. Taven with punches and Lethal with chops and punches. Taven with chops. Lethal goes to the floor and Taven follows. Lethal with a punch but Taven sends Lethal into the guardrails. Taven Irish whips Lethal into the guardrails. Taven with a Yakuza kick to Lethal. Taven slams Lethal on the floor and then they return to the ring but Lethal goes back to the floor.
Lethal with a punch and he sends Taven into the guardrails. Lethal gets a near fall. Taven sends Lethal to the apron and Taven with a springboard drop kick and Lethal falls to the floor. Taven with a plancha and both men are down. Selezia sends Lethal back into the ring and Taven wants to know what she is doing here. Truth wants to hit Taven with the Book of Truth and he sees it coming to Truth stops. Taven sends Selezia into Truth.
Taven with a spin kick and then he hits a hanging roll the dice but he can only get a near fall. Taven kips up and he goes for a clothesline but Lethal stops him. Taven stops the Lethal Combination. Lethal with a kick followed by an enzuigiri. Lethal hits the Lethal Combination for a near fall. Lethal goes to the floor and he takes the TV title belt and brings it into the ring.
Taven avoids the belt shot and Taven with a super kick. Taven goes up top and Jay Diesel crotches Taven while the referee deals with the title belt in the ring. Lethal hits Lethal Injection and gets the three count.

Match Number Five: Jay Lethal versus Cedric Alexander in a Golden Gauntlet Match
Alexander wastes no time and runs to the ring and gets a near fall with a rollup. Alexander with a backslide for a near fall. Alexander with chops and we go to commercial.
We are back and Alexander goes for a dive but Lethal moves and Alexander stops in the ring. Alexander goes after Lethal on the floor but Lethal returns to the ring. Alexander with a shoulder from the apron and he gets a near fall with a sunset flip. Lethal with a knee and he sends Alexander into the turnbuckles. Lethal with chops in the corner. Lethal and Alexander exchange punches but Lethal with a knee. Alexander with a kick and snap mare followed by a drop kick to the head.
Alexander gets a near fall. Alexander with a slam followed by a knee drop for a near fall. Alexander with an Irish whip and Lethal crotches Alexander on the top rope. Lethal sends Alexander to the floor. Lethal with a suicide dive. Lethal sets for another dive while the crowd chants for it, but Lethal decides not to. Lethal goes to the floor and then he runs Alexander into the guardrails.
Lethal breaks the referee’s count and he sends Alexander back into the ring. Lethal goes up top and hits the double sledge to the top of the head and Lethal gets a near fall. Lethal with a rear chin lock. Lethal with a boot to the chest. Lethal tells Truth to come back to ringside.
Alexander with a punch but Lethal with a kick and chop. Lethal with an Irish whip and running back elbow into the corner. Lethal goes up top but he decides it is better to go back to the mat and he connects with a clothesline for a near fall. Alexander with an elbow but Lethal with a European uppercut. Lethal chops Alexander and follows with an Irish whip and running forearm into the corner. Lethal runs into a back heel kick and Alexander with a tornado DDT and both men are down.
Alexander with a forearm but Lethal fires back . Alexander with a punch and Lethal with a chop. Alexander with a chop. Lethal with a kick and DDT but both men are down. We go to commercial.
We are back and Lethal with a forearm. Alexander blocks a bicycle kick and Alexander with a half nelson front driver for a near fall. Alexander with a forearm and he puts Lethal on the turnbuckles. Alexander goes for a superplex but Lethal with punches to send Alexander to the mat. Lethal with the elbow drop for a near fall.
Alexander refuses to be Irish whipped and Lethal with a chop. Alexander with a chop. Lethal misses an enzuigiri and Alexander with a super kick. Lethal with a super kick and Alexander with a clothesline and both men are down. Alexander with a forearm and Lethal with a forearm of his own.
They go back and forth with forearms and punches and then both with forearms at the same time and both men are down. Lethal calls for help from the back and Alexander with punches. Lethal tries for Letahl Combination but Alexander avoids the DDT. Lethal with a kick and then he tries for the Lethal Injection but Alexander with a round kick. Alexander with a drop kick into the corner and then he tries for a suplex but Lethal lands on his feet.
Alexander with another drop kick in the corner and Alexander with a brainbuster. Alexander with the Lumbar Check and Alexander gets the three count.
Winner: Cedric Alexander
After the match, Michael Elgin comes out and he applauds the performance of Alexander.
