- WWE isn't currently planning on bringing Rey Mysterio back to TV once he's healed up. The Wrestling Observer reports that the company is holding onto him mostly to keep him away from AAA or other promotions, as opposed to actually using him for their own purposes.
As previously reported, the company extended Mysterio's contract due to time he was out due to his injuries. AAA's TripleMania XXII featured a video package from Mysterio where he congratulated the company for twenty-two years in operations and said he would see them soon, ending with the hashtag #FREEREY
Opinionated View- I say just cut him. The guy is so inure prone AAA will never be able to build around him. Of course there is a chance he work for TNA or ROH but again he's way to beat up to build around.
