We are in Anaheim, California and your announcers are Jerry ‘Huey’ Lawler, John ‘Dewey’ Layfield, and Michael ‘Louie’ Cole.
We have a table and carpet in the ring because tonight we start off with a Hall of Fame Forum. Michael Cole is our host for this panel. On the panel are Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Shawn Michaels.
Michael Cole reminds us that John Cena will face Brock Lesnar at Night of Champions.
Cole asks Shawn if Cena can win at Night of Champions. Shawn says that his chances aren’t good because it ain’t happening. Shawn says that at every point in a man’s career you come to a crossroad. Cena is at that crossroads now and it might be time to say ‘when’.
Hogan tells Shawn, brother, that when it is your time, you know it is your time. Cena can still go.
Cole asks Flair if he agrees with Shawn. Flair says that he agrees with Shawn. All of them think the world of John Cena. He is the franchise and a fifteen time World Champion. Does Flair want to see Cena versus Lesnar at Night of Champions? No he does not.
Hogan is asked for his prediction. Hogan says that he has gotten to know John and Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect is not a marketing logo. Hogan says that he is rooting for Cena.
Shawn says that people like Cena, but it doesn’t change that Cena does not have a chance.
Hogan says that Lesnar dominated him the first time, but Cena found a way to win.
Shawn says that no one takes a beating like Cena did and comes out the same way.
Hogan says that this is the rubber match. Cena will find a way to win.
Shawn and Flair say that is not going to happen.
John Cena’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring.
John says that we can hear the crowd and they are weighing in on him after SummerSlam. What is going through his mind? What should he do? Everyone is talking about him, even a panel of Hall of Famers.
John says that before he goes any further, that he has the utmost respect for all three men. Shawn, as a professional and a friend. He has had some professional and recreational time with Flair. Without Hulk Hogan, there would be no John Cena.
John says that he is sick of talk of what he should do. Everyone saw SummerSlam. Sixteen German suplexes. There is no sports cliché or excuse that will let him dance around it. SummerSlam was an ass whooping. Shawn said that a fight like that changes a man. After being dropped on his head 20 times, he said that he wanted to fight Brock Lesnar again when the doctor asked him after the match.
He asks rhetorically why would you want to face that again? John says that he does not plan on that happening again. He will bring the fight to Brock Lesnar. He knows that Shawn and Flair have their doubts. Cena tells Hogan that this is the biggest night of his career. He will not go to Night of Champions to beat Brock Lesnar, he is going to beat Brock’s ass.
Cena leaves the ring.
We go to commercial with Rusev and Jack Swagger walking in the back with flags.
Match Number One: Jack Swagger (with American Flag) versus Rusev (with Lana and Russian Flag)
Swagger and Rusev with punches. Rusev with kicks and punches. Swagger punches Rusev and connects with a back elbow and Rusev goes to the floor. Swagger with forearms to the back when Rusev gets back into the ring. Swagger with a double leg take down and he goes for the ankle lock. Rusev gets to the apron and then to the floor.
Rusev teases going into the ring. Rusev has a kick blocked and Swagger with a waist lock take down. Rusev rolls to the floor again. Swagger goes to the floor and he slams Rusev’s head into the apron. Swagger sends Rusev into the apron and then back into the ring. Swagger with a splash into the corner. Swagger sends Rusev into the turnbuckles. Swagger with a knee to the midsection followed by a punch.
Swagger with a punch and Rusev drops Swagger on the top rope. Rusev with a splash to the back and Swagger falls to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Rusev with a bear hug but Swagger with an arm drag. Rusev with a leaping spinning heel kick and it appears that Rusev’s ankle is fine. Rusev points at his flag. Swagger with a belly-to-belly suplex and both men are down. Swagger with a clothesline and splash into the corner followed by an Irish whip and boot to the head.
Not to be outdone, Swagger points at the American flag before trying the Swagger Bomb. Rusev gets his foot up and Swagger applies the ankle lock. Rusev fights through the pain and he crawls to the apron and Swagger has to release the hold. Rusev rolls to the floor. Swagger goes to the floor and Rusev runs Swagger into the apron. Rusev runs Swagger into the apron a second time.
Rusev returns to the ring and he limps. Rusev with a foot to the back and Swagger with an ankle lock but Rusev kicks Swagger and Swagger with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Rusev with a leaping thrust kick to the ribs. Rusev with kicks to the back. Rusev yells at Swagger and Swagger with a ‘We the People’. Rusev with a kick and forearms. Rusev with more kicks to the back. Rusev with more kicks to the back. Rusev kicks Swagger in the ribs and then he stomps on the ribs. The referee checks on Swagger to see if he can continue. Rusev stomps on the ribs again and Rusev is warned another time.
Rusev with a round kick to the chest and then he stomps on the chest and the referee stops the match.
Winner: Rusev
After the match, Swagger is checked on by the medical staff on the floor.
We are back and Swagger is being checked on in the medical office and Bo Dallas reminds Jack that he let his country down again. If you want to succeed, all you have to do is BOLIEVE.
We are back and Sheamus is back from a Gangs of New York reunion and he is here to watch to see who will face him for the United States Title.
Match Number Two: Rob Van Dam versus Cesaro in a Number One Contender Match for the United States Title
Cesaro with a jab to Van Dam and then he kicks and punches Van Dam followed by a European uppercut. Van Dam flips over Cesaro’s back and Van Dam with a thrust kick and Rolling Thunder for a near fall. Van Dam has a kick blocked and Cesaro with knees and then he sends Van Dam into the turnbuckles. Cesaro goes to the apron for a double stomp to the back.
Cesaro with a slingshot into the ropes and then he applies a cravate. Cesaro gets a near fall. Cesaro returns to the cravate. Van Dam with a round kick and a split legged moonsault for a near fall. Van Dam floats over but Cesaro catches Van Dam. Van Dam gets to his feet and he hits a springboard thrust kick. Van Dam goes up top but Cesaro rolls to the floor.
Cesaro drops Van Dam on the top rope and he hits the Gotch Style Neutralizer for the three count.
Winner: Cesaro
After the match, Cesaro goes to the floor and he takes the United States Title belt and looks at it. Cesaro throws it in Sheamus’ face and he backs up.
Jerry mentions that next week, the first 100 hours of Nitro will appear on the WWE Network next week.
We go to commercial with Paige skipping in the back.
We are back with the WWE Rewind: Natalya defeating Paige after AJ’s music made Paige forget what she is doing in the wrestling ring.
Match Number Three: Paige versus Natalya in a Non Title Match
Natalya with a rollup for a near fall. Paige with a running forearm to the head and the referee checks on Natalya while Paige skips around the ring. Paige crawls onto Natalya and then connects with a series of head butts. Paige with an abdominal stretch but Natalya with a reversal and she picks up Paige’s leg to add more pressure. Paige with a hip toss after escaping.
Natalya with a forearm to Paige and then she hits a German suplex. Natalya applies the Sharpshooter but Paige gets to the apron and Natalya releases the hold. Paige with a double leg take down and she tries for a Sharpshooter but Natalya tries to reverse but Paige with a kick. Paige with the Paige Turner for the three count.
Winner: Paige
After the match, Paige backs up the ramp for a moment and AJ’s music plays. Paige goes into the ring again and Natalya with a clothesline and Paige is down. AJ skips around the ring and then she enters and she helps Paige to her feet.
AJ tells Paige, her little English Muffin, that Paige said they were frenemies and she loves AJ. AJ says that she knows that Paige was sincere, but not as sincere as AJ is. AJ gets closer to Paige and she hugs Paige. AJ takes Paige’s hand and kisses it. AJ skips and leaves the ring.

We are back and Kane makes his way to the ring for the Eulogy of Dean Ambrose. Kane says that we are here to say farewell to the lunatic fringe. It is a time to talk about the future of the WWE, Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins.
Seth comes to the ring.
Seth says that he was the leader of the most dominant group in the history of the WWE, the Shield. There is a reason why he hand picked Dean Ambrose to be a member of The Shield. Pain was never a factor for Dean. Fear was never a factor for Dean. Dean was a courageous fighter, but last week, he had to prove at Dean’s expense that the Authority always wins. Seth says that he wants to take a look back at the match that the WWE Universe chose for the demise of Dean Ambrose.
We see the highlights from the match.
Seth starts to laugh and he asks to imagine the moment of impact when he pulverized Dean’s head into the cinder blocks. What was going through Dean’s mind? Did it even dawn on him that Dean was outmatched physically and mentally? It is no secret that those cinder blocks weren’t out there by accident.
That headache that Dean Ambrose is going to have for the rest of his life is no accident either. It saddens him that the casualty that has become of Dean Ambrose’s career can be summed up in two words. ‘What if’? What if Dean knew his place? What if Dean recognized Seth’s superiority? What if Dean had walked away when he had the opportunity? We will never know the answers to those ‘what ifs’ because it is highly unlikely you will see Dean Ambrose again.
Seth says that he is the one who created the Shield and he is the one who has destroyed it.
Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring while the music for The Shield plays.
Reigns punches Kane outside the ring. Kane with a forearm but Kane is Irish whipped into the ring steps. Reigns enters the ring and they exchange punches while they destroy the floral arrangement. Reigns hits Rollins with the lectern. Reigns misses a splash and Reigns with a clothesline. Kane pulls Rollins out of the ring.
We take a look at the opening Hall of Fame panel and their comments on the Cena/Lesnar match.
Goldust says that they have a golden opportunity tonight. Their destiny is calling out to them. Stardust says tonight, the stars align. This celestial event may never happen again. Tonight, they become Tag Team Champions. There will be a cataclysmic eruption. Goldust says that tonight, they will never forget the name Gold . . . and Star . . . Dust.

Match Number Four: Goldust and Stardust versus Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso for the WWE Tag Titles
Jimmy and Stardust start things off and Stardust with a rollup for a near fall. Stardust with a waist lock but Jimmy with a standing switch and rollup for a near fall. Jey tags in and he hits a running forearm into the corner. Jey with a wrist lock and Jimmy tags in and he hits a double sledge from the turnbuckles. Jimmy with a chop but Stardust punches Jimmy. Stardust with a wrist lock and forearms to the left arm. Stardust gets a near fall.
Stardust with a wrist lock on Jimmy but Jimmy with a forearm. Stardust curtseys and then he sends Jimmy to the floor. Goldust with a cannonball off the apron to Jey and Stardust takes care of Jimmy and he gets a near fall. We go to commercial.
We are back and Stardust with a reverse chin lock to Jimmy. Jimmy with a dragon whip and both men are down. Stardust with a clothesline and Goldust tags in and gets a near fall. Goldust with a kick. Both men collide in the center of the ring and both go down and a cross body attempt.
Jey and Stardust tag in and Jey with a clothesline and thrust kick followed by an uppercut. Jey with a drop kick. Jey with a running butt splash and then he gives Goldust a Samoan drop. Jey with a plancha onto Stardust. Jey appears to have injured his knee and Stardust and Jey exchange punches on the floor. Stardust gets back into the ring at nine but Jey cannot get back into the ring.
Winners: Goldust and Stardust (by count out)
After the match, Goldust says that Jey got counted out on purpose. Goldust wants a rematch right now.
Goldust and Stardust attack the Usos. They send Jimmy to the floor. Goldust sends Jey into the turnbuckles. Stardust wrings the leg into the ring post while Goldust punches Jey.

We are back and Seth Rollins tells Kane that they need to do something about Roman Reigns for sticking his nose where it doesn’t belong. What they did to Dean Ambrose is exactly what they are going to do to Roman Reigns. Kane says that Roman Reigns will face Seth Rollins. Seth says that it will be a handicap match. Kane says that it ends tonight.
We go to comments from Brock Lesnar after he won the WWE title. Brock says that was the greatest accomplishment. He has conquered the WWE Universe and became the WWE Champion again. Brock says that he hit John with an F-5 right off the bat. He gave John the chance to stay down. That is all he had to do. This no give up bulls*** takes over and it didn’t do John any favors.
Paul says that Brock is a beast. Brock says that he inflicted the right amount of pain on John Cena. Paul says that the only reason John Cena survived is because Brock felt pity for John.
We go to the announcement about the rematch at Night of Champions.
Paul says that his client is humiliated by the fact that John Cena would dare invoke this rematch clause. Are you out of your mind? Do you understand the unrepentant beast sitting in front of you. Paul says that he is a fan of John’s but you made a big mistake.
Brock asks John if his father filled his ears with all kinds of garbage. Someday, you are going to grow up to be a man. Some day you are going to run into a guy who is going to knock your ass down and you are going to stand up. Then he is going to knock your ass down and you are going to get up. You are not going to get up. It is over, my friend. Brock says that he does not feel bad for John. For the last 12 years, that is what you have been living on. Now Brock Lesnar shows up. He tells John Cena to mark his words. Night of Champions will be the last night in your universe.
Game Over. Brock says that it almost brings a tear to his eye.
Match Number Five: Dolph Ziggler versus Miz in a Non Title Match
Miz does not appear to be dressed to wrestle. He says this morning he went to Disneyland and he did not have to wait in line. He was whisked to the front. Mickey asked for a photo with him. That is a perk of being a movie star. Miz says that he has his own movie double.
Match Number Five: Dolph Ziggler versus Damien Mizdow in a Non Title Match
Sandow takes off his sunglasses and Ziggler with a drop kick for a near fall. Sandow with shoulders in the corner followed by head butts. Sandow kicks Ziggler and hits a suplex for a near fall. Sandow with boots to the ribs and he punches Ziggler. Sandow with a head butt, but Ziggler with a jawbreaker. Sandow with a back elbow but he misses a knee drop. Ziggler with running clotheslines followed by a splash into the corner. Sandow avoids the neck breaker and Sandow with a drop kick to the knee. Sandow with a figure four leg lock. Ziggler reverses and Sandow gets to the ropes.
Sandow misses a clothesline and Ziggler with a Zig Zag for the three count.
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
After the match, Miz applauds the result of the match and walks away.

We are back with the Slam of the Week: Nikki Bella helping Stephanie McMahon defeat Brie Bella.
Jerry Lawler is in the ring and he says that one of the most shocking moments of SummerSlam was Nikki Bella turning on her sister to help Stephanie McMahon win over Brie. Some could say it was a bad decision, until we saw what happened on Raw.
Jerry says that no one likes to see a family torn apart so this is the first step to fix the family.
Jerry brings Nikki Bella to the ring. Jerry asks Nikki about the crowd’s reaction and then says that he hopes they can fix the issues between her and Brie.
Brie comes to the ring and they argue over using the same music.
Brie says that this is about the person she trusted more in the world backstabbing her. She loves her friends and husband. They have been together since before they were born. They were holding hands in the womb. She knows that Nikki’s feelings are hurt. If Nikki feels that Brie abandoned her, she is sorry. She tells Nikki to forget about Total Divas and the WWE. This is Brianna talking to Nikki.
Nikki tells Brie that was the biggest load of crap she ever heard. She gets it. Nikki is the selfish materialistic one. Brie is the one who wants her family back together. Maybe everyone else is stupid enough to believe it, but not Nikki. Nikki says that Brie always wanted the spotlight and wanted to be the one who was loved.
Brie says that it was never about her, but Nikki says that it was all about Brie. Nikki tells Brie to stop the act. Maybe they weren’t holding hands in the ultrasound. Maybe Brie was doing what she does best . . . holding her back.
Nikki says that she is so done with Brie and the family thinking of her as an afterthought. Nikki is sick of the audience and their fantasy of twins. Nikki says that she is so over Brie’s scraggly hair, her save the earth crap, her log cabin house, and her troll faced husband.
Nikki is so done playing second fiddle to a sister who never gave a damn about her. Nikki tells everyone something they don’t know about Brie Bella. Brie stole all of her boyfriends. Brie always pointed the blame at Nikki. Nikki says that when Brie quit, she abandoned her. Nikki was put in three on one and four on one matches or put in humiliating situations while Brie watched from home. Nikki calls Brie a sad excuse for a sister and for a human being.
Nikki asks if Brie is going to cry. The perfect Bella Twin is going to cry. Nikki says that this is the real Brie Mode, a pathetic hot mess. Nikki tells Jerry to get out and she calls him an old man. Nikki says that as far as she is concerned, she has no sister. Nikki says that she wishes Brie died in the womb. Nikki pushes Brie off her chair and then after removing her heels, she attacks Brie.
The battle continues while Jerry tries to separate them.
It is time to remember what happened at the start of the show.
Match Number Six: Roman Reigns versus Seth Rollins and Kane
Reigns with a kick and punch to Kane and he sends Kane over the top with a clothesline. Reigns brings Rollins into the ring and he punches Seth. Rollins tries to escape and then Reigns with shoulders. Kane attacks Reigns from behind and he sends Roman into the turnbuckles. Rollins tags in and he kicks Reigns. Rollins with a splash into the corner and he hits a running forearm into the corner.
Kane tags in and Reigns sends Rollins over the top rope to the floor. Reigns with a flying clothesline followed by clotheslines and punches in the corner that force Kane to be stuck to the bottom rope. Reigns sends Rollins into the ringside barrier and apron followed by a back breaker onto the apron.
Reigns looks at Kane and he hits the Juggernaut Drop Kick. Reigns goes for the Superman punches but Kane blocks it. Reigns avoids the choke slam and he hits a spear but Rollins with the briefcase to the back and the referee calls for the bell.
Winner: Roman Reigns (by disqualification)
Rollins hits Reigns with the briefcase and then he sends Reigns to the floor.
Rollins sends Reigns into the ringside barrier and then Kane kicks Reigns. Kane reveals another set of cinder blocks and Kane puts Reigns’ head on the blocks while Rollins goes onto the announce table. Reigns with an uppercut to Rollins and then he goes with Kane into Yeatonville. Reigns with a Superman punch to Rollins and then he sends Kane into the ring post and then Kane visits Yeatonville. Reigns has a cinder block and Rollins sees what Reigns has in his hands. Reigns throws the cinder block at Rollins but Seth moves and the cinder block shatters when it hits the ring post. Reigns with a Superman punch to Kane.
Bray Wyatt tells John Cena he has said he before. He says that John Cena is a shell of a man who never existed before. After your run in with the beast, your shell is cracked. You are running around like a wounded animal. What kind of man would he be if he continued to let John suffer and spread his disease around the country.
Bray says that he will put Cena down. No worries John because it is so much nicer on the other side.

We are with the Goldman Box and Heath Slater says that they could be superheroes. Titus shoots down the ideas. Titus says that he will be Thor and Heath says that Thor didn’t have a counterpart which Titus likes.
Match Number Seven: Fernando and Diego (with El Torito) versus Titus O’Neil and Heath Slater
Slater and Diego start off and Diego with a shoulder tackle or two. Diego with a springboard cross body. Fernando tags in and Diego with a suplex and Fernando with a slingshot senton for a near fall. Slater with a punch but Fernando with a head scissors and an arm drag into an arm bar. Diego tags in and he hits a drop kick. Diego with a chop and punch. Titus distracts Diego and Slater with a leg lariat for a near fall.
Titus tags in and he hits two back breakers and then he drops Diego. Titus yells at Slater and then he barks. Titus tells Slater not to bark. They push each other and Slater is the legal man. Slater with punches to Diego. Diego with elbows and a sunset flip for a near fall. Slater with a clothesline and Titus tags in.
Titus with an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Titus with a chop but Diego with chops but Titus stops him and Titus runs Diego into the corner and Slater with a chop. Titus tags Slater in and Diego with a crucifix cover for the three count.
Winners: Fernando and Diego

Match Number Eight: Kofi Kingston versus Bo Dallas
Bo offers his hand and Kofi kicks Bo’s hand. Kofi with a drop kick and more kicks. Kofi with a cross body for a near fall. Kofi with a splash into the corner but Bo with a knee to the midsection. Bo with punches to Kofi but Kofi with a springboard drop kick. Kofi leaps into the corner and he punches Bo.
Kofi with a European uppercut. Bo with an Irish whip and Kofi with an elbow. Kofi goes for a springboard move but Bo hits Kofi and Kofi falls to the mat. Bo with the BoDog for the three count.
Winner: Bo Dallas
After the match, Bo does his victory lap and he grabs a mic.
Bo tells Kofi that he is not like Jack Swagger. Kofi just let himself down. Jack Swagger let down his entire country. You both need to learn to . . . BOLIEVE.
Swagger comes from behind and hits a belly to belly slam.

Match Number Nine: John Cena versus Bray Wyatt (with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan)
Cena backs Wyatt into the corner and he punches Wyatt. Wyatt kicks and punches Cena. Cena with a clothesline. Cena tells Wyatt to stay down. Cena with a German suplex to Wyatt and Cena waits for Wyatt to get up. Cena with a Saito suplex and the referee checks on Wyatt. Cena with a running back elbow. Cena with another suplex and he gets a near fall.
Cena with punches to Wyatt in the corner followed by kicks and the referee warns Cena. Cena with a running knee to Wyatt’s head and the referee warns Cena again. Cena with a German suplex. Cena with a clothesline to Wyatt and Wyatt is down again. Cena with a waist lock but Wyatt with elbows and a splash into the corner. Cena with a double leg take down and Harper and Rowan enter the ring.
Winner: John Cena (by disqualification)
After the match, Harper and Rowan join Wyatt in their attack on Cena. Mark Henry and Big Show make their way to the ring and they take care of Harper and Rowan.

Match Number Ten: Big Show, Mark Henry, and John Cena versus Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan
The match is joined in progress and Show slams Rowan. Show with an elbow drop to Rowan. Show with punches in the corner followed by a Shhhhh chop to Rowan. Show with another Shhhhh chop to Rowan. Henry tags in and Show Irish whips Henry into the corner and Henry with a splash to Rowan. Henry with head butts to Rowan and he runs into a boot from Rowan. Rowan with a clothesline. Rowan gets a near fall.
Wyatt tags in and he kicks Henry and hits a diving head butt to the ribs. Wyatt with punches. Harper tags in and he hits an elbow drop and applies a reverse chin lock. Harper with knees and Rowan tags in. Rowan slams Henry and Harper with a splash into the corner. Harper runs into a boot from Henry and Show tags in and he connects with clotheslines and then he Irish whips Harper and hits a running butt splash. Harper with a drop kick and Rowan tags in and he hits a running boot to the head.
Wyatt tags in and he kicks Show. Wyatt with a back senton for a near fall. Rowan tags in and he works over the midsection. Rowan with a forearm and Harper tags in. Harper slaps Rowan and sends him into the corner for a splash. Harper with a super kick for a near fall. Wyatt tags back in and he pie faces Show. Show with a choke slams and both men are down.
Cena and Harper tag in and Cena with clotheslines followed by a German suplex to Harper. Cena with a clothesline to Rowan followed by a hip lock take down to Harper followed by punches and the STF. Harper taps out.
Winners: John Cena, Mark Henry, and Big Show
After the match, Cena gives Rowan an Attitude Adjustment. Show and Henry send Wyatt back into the ring so Cena can give Wyatt an Attitude Adjustment. Cena with an Attitude Adjustment to Luke Harper.
