TNA taped an angle on Wednesday night for their December 26th episode of Impact Wrestling in which Jeff Hardy was written out of storylines. He told the live crowd that he wrestled his last match for TNA and thanked them for years of support. It's rumored that this could only be temporary, as he won't be attending the upcoming TNA Maximum Impact tour of the UK in late January.
His actual TNA contract status is unknown at this time. He signed a new deal with the company last January, which was believed to be for two years. However, it's possible the second year was optional, which could make him a free agent next month.

Opinionated View- The fact they ran this angle also convinces something that also happened at the Impact tapings is just an angle. Of course this happened last year with Jeff when he had to be taken out by the Aces and Eights.
